    I have never dozed off watching an ASMR video before now. You have the perfect voice for this. I also enjoy the fact that your videos have a practical aspect to them, in addition to the ASMR. I can't wait to try Butter Coffee since watching that particular video. I've been using olive oil as a make-up remover for years but have never seen the aspirin and honey exfoliate. I am anxious to give that a try! I am looking forward to more videos from you!

      heather oswald Thank you so much, Heather! I appreciate it very much. I'm so glad this video could help you relax that well! I really enjoy making "the kind of videos I'd want to watch", in terms of ASMR. Videos that I haven't yet seen around much, that have a practical and learning component :) I really hope you try the butter coffee soon, I think it's really delicious. The mask is so simple, definitely give it a try! I am always working on a video, so feel free to leave a comment if you have any more thoughts or ideas for future content. I try to work in people's requests as often as possible. Thanks for supporting my channel and commenting! :)

      Castiel Landsteiner Thank you! I'm always working on something. I will definitely keep in mind your request! Making the coasters is slightly labor-intensive, crafting-wise, but I'll keep it in mind! :) Thanks for watching & let me know if you have any more ideas for content!

    I'll definitely give the mask a go! I don't think I've ever heard of an aspirin and honey mask before, but based on your video I'll give it a go. Love your voice, for some random reason I picture kylie jenner behind the camera. I guess ur voice fits her lol! P.S love your yummy chocolate chip cookies video!

      +Lisa Perry Great idea! I usually only get 1 or 2 things at the Farmer's Market (I think I might be a minimalist, haha!) but I'll keep this in mind in case I come across a few items! : ) Thanks for commenting so much & I'm glad you like the tutorials!

    Hi, I almost never comment. I wanted to tell you what a lovely voice you have! Soft folksy and visity. I also wanted to suggest trying dryed White Willow ( where asprin comes from ) or Yarrow. These have both been prized by Native Americans for thousands of years, beause the many healing and protective benefits. Also please use local honey. This is a bit more expensive, but it supports your community and bees in your area are "programmed" to know what we need. Your vids are so inventive! Keep them coming!!!GOD bless. more ?s ?? Knock at the hedge door : )

      +ElizaBeth Marshall-Smith Hey Elizabeth, thanks for commenting! I appreciate you taking the time to comment as you said you rarely do, and I do hope that my comment reaches back to you! : ) First off, I want to let you know that I definitely do buy (a lot hehe) of local honey and definitely try to support the local businesses around me! Having said that, I also travel a lot, which is why there are so many types from all over the country! (I'm planning on doing an update honey collection video someday - I now have quite a few more jars/bottles from all over the U.S!) I'm really glad you like the kinds of videos I make - I just "make the kind of videos I would want to watch." : ) Please let me know if you have ANY other requests/questions as I'm always more than happy to help. Thanks for your kind words about my voice & for spreading the positivity of ASMR. I've never tried White Willow or Yarrow, but I will see if I can find out more/get some from my brother soon (he is very knowledgeable about this type of thing), especially herbs that have been in use throughout human history. Very cool comment Elizabeth & have a great day!

    I don't have ANY honey in my home, would molasses work for this DIY? I really would love to recreate this but I don't have honey so I would really appreciate a REAL and HONEST answer... Thank you! 😊

      Alex TheGeek - hi Alex! to be honest I'm not sure, but definitely worth a try! something else I've loved lately is sugar scrubs. try this: olive oil mixed with a tablespoon of sugar as a mask :)

      +Sweet Dreams Hey! Thanks for your comment. I won't rule out ever showing my face in my videos, but it is definitely something I have weighed the options about in seriousness. Because of the potential privacy issues (that many ASMRtists do unfortunately face), it may be a long time before I reach a decision about this. Thanks for your suggestion anyway! Perhaps I could try a RP scenario with just my hands, still? Let me know! : ) I appreciate your understanding!

      +MegInWhispers I love your videos, so much that I stumbled upon this comment. What do you mean exactly by privacy issues that ASMRtists face? I also find it funny that despite this you do show your face in the future, so I'm also curious about your verdict regarding this lol

    • @MegInWhispers
      @MegInWhispers  8 років тому

      I was referring to cases of stalking, etc. that I've heard of. Classic internet invasion of privacy stuff. The reason I did finally feel comfortable showing my face was because I realized that a lot of people might be able to connect to the videos better and it would offer a new/different (for me) way to film. I also feel like I have great, kind, and supportive subscribers, so I ended up going for it :) I hope that makes sense!

    I remember watching your butter coffee video and loving it despite the lower quality audio you had back then (I actually like white noise.). And now with the blue yeti it sounds even better! :D I use a similar makeup removal technique except I use baby oil which probably isn't as beneficial but it is cheap. lol I can't wait for your next video. I think your voice and way of speech is perfect for ASMR. Keep up the great work!

    • @MegInWhispers
      @MegInWhispers  9 років тому +1

      ***** Thanks so much! I know sometimes people don't like the white noise, but I actually liked it, too! I'm glad you like it with the Yeti though, too! It makes investing in the mic worth it when viewers enjoy the quality. I hope you enjoy the new video and thanks so much for your kind words! I'm always working on something, so stay tuned :)
