I’m sorry but no state can take away your marriage, if I was married to someone and we truly loved each other it wouldn’t matter what a piece of paper said. I understand why it’s important I just don’t believe it caused her divorce nor would I be worried about marrying someone due to a status. If we love each other there is nothing that can take that away.

Incidentally, like @PandaStar I AM also a guy, and incapable of passing the Bechdel test. Nonetheless, I AM happy the Bechdel test exists, because, two women, regardless of their sexual orientation can talk about something other than a man.

I couldn't pass the Bechtel test because technically I'm a guy but some of my characters do pass the "Bechtel test" lol I'm kidding but seriously I do have some LGBTQ characters....soooo....
I don't know if I pass the Bechdel test. I try to in my books. Funnily enough I remember explaining it to my mum and she said it was easy as her and her female friend do that all the time, we both wondered why it seemed hard for Hollywood to do so (back then Hollywood seemed to have a problem passing the test in movie scripts). That said, it seems to make the work more interesting if characters have stuff to talk about other than guys although some genres might find it harder than others (e.g. Murder mysteries might find it easier than romances).
