Amen Trish! For you rapture watchers, Jesus never referred to anything, except to the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet (Matthew 24:15-16 and Daniel 9:27). This is what you need to look for: 1. The falling away. Some people think that has already started. 2. The Temple is built in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount. 3. The man of sin will stand in the temple saying he is God. This is what's referred to as "the abomination of desolation" Here is the scripture for it: II Thessalonians 2:1-4 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. When the man of sin stands in the temple, saying he is God, we only have 3 1/2 years left until Jesus returns! Hallelujah Jesus is coming soon! Be ready for His return! Do not be like the five unwise virgins.
It is good to hear some of your testimony. Prophesy is not for the purpose of predicting the future (the first mistake many make), but predicting the future is a part of bringing comfort to God's people during interesting times. I say it that way because even if God waits a little longer to bring His ending, prophesy is useful to us now as a witness of God's power to bring us through our current circumstances. Prophesy was given so we would not be afraid when trials come.
