There is so much good music in this world. All types of music. Rap...R and B...Rock,,,Classical...Gospel. I've got my bags packed and I'm on board this fantastic journey!...Peace Out ....Happy Holidays to ALL......"70"... I'm adding all these songs to my playlist.I love you my SUN.
My all time favorite male singer. Billy Stewart was one of the most influential male soul singers of the 60s & right up until his untimely passing in 1970. He had his own unique styling of singing, by taking the art form of scat and incorporating it into his style of singing. No one before him, no one during his time and no one since his passing has sounded like him. You need to listen to his live version of summertime recorded at the Nixon theater in 1968 it WILL BLOW YOU AWAY Truly one of the greats✌️
Billy Stewart is one of the forgotten gems of the 60’s. I have been a fan of his for a long time. I bought a couple of his CD’s decades ago. His voice and style are unique.
"Sitting in the Park" is a hood favorite, along with "Cross My Heart" and "This Tingling", and of course "Summertime" in which you can almost here where Michael Jackson got his scat style from.
This was good to hear again ❣️ Billy Stewart’s voice is heavenly & seductive 💥. I know you love Al Green as well, for an amazing journey check out How Can You Mend A Broken Heart written & sung by The Bee Gees 1970 and then in 1971 done by Al Green, you will be in heaven 💎🤣 1960’s is such a great decade & then the 70’s are killer as well 🤩
Heard this when it first came out in 1966 (at 14 years old) and loved it even more when it was re-released in '68 and in a band during high school. When I read in the newspaper in the spring of 1970 that he and his band died in an auto accident...I cried. I play this song on my guitar every chance I get.
Love this and how much your taking me back to my childhood. And love you being so young and loving it. Your wonderful. Thank you❤ keep it going, its a nice ride.
The sexiest is "Groove Me" by King Floyd and "Oh What a Night" by The Dells (the 1969 version). Great slow dancing songs which couples actually still did in the 1960's.
Harry nilsson everybodys talkin is another forgoten 60s gem bro harry nilsson was so underrated he done a beautifull cover of without you in the 70s aswell what is better than mariah careys 90s version you would like harry
MARK - You are teaching ME something now.... I've never heard of him before but this is stunniing.... BUT - I have heard a very similar song... SO - I am asking VERY nicely..... Please would you listen to Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames and their track - "Sitting In The Park" I love that track and because of you I have just checked it up AND it was written by BILLY STEWART. It is a 1966 release so it's okay, it's the '60's so you wil be able to do it... I PROMISE.... Trust me.... I am not a doctor... hehe. Keep on Rocking.
Billy Stewart’s version of Summertime is fantastically beautiful and Jaw Droppingly ORIGINAL. The Whatzupduck video is a live performance of him singing it on a variety show.
Beautiful reaction, Billy Stewart is one of my favorite artists of all time. Passed way too early but we have his magnificent musoc here to illustrate his hard work and passion. Rest in Peace Mr.Stewart.
My father loved the "old standards" Frank Sinatra, ella Fitzgerald, mel Torme`, Tony Bennett, etc..... all the 60s 70s, 80s, 90s. Rock, blues SRV "tin pan alley" but I love anything SRV you will mostly have live which is best for him (no time limits) you can witness his awesomeness, I love some opera, and concert music as well, I love most but there is a lot
Going again with the lesser known song from a well known group, "Goin' Down" by the Monkees will rock your rap, especially if you watch the video version from the original show. Ah, the time spent trying to figure out the lyrics before the internet...
Why not take the time travel back another decade? Chuck Berry is an icon, but have you seen him live in the 50s with Johnny B. Good? Meanwhile, Jerry Lee Lewis doing Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On live in the 50s (not the later versions)...he plays the piano the way you do reaction videos....talking about a guy who set the piano on fire and kept playing (which also meant the next act couldn't go in, making him the closing act). Then there's Little Richard doing Lucille. Oh man, you've hardly started.
Billy Stewart's "Summertime" is a banger!!! You should listen to the version with the longer intro to get the full shot!!
Never heard it before. Thanks for sharing and doing this.
This guy was a singer, but was totally underrated!!!

"Go Now" Bessie Banks, before the Moody Blues got hold of it. Whole different meaning when you understand.

Going again with the lesser known song from a well known group, "Goin' Down" by the Monkees will rock your rap, especially if you watch the video version from the original show. Ah, the time spent trying to figure out the lyrics before the internet...
