Hasan needs to take a page from the yard. When they have a guest, they shoot the shit with them (the recent Brittany broski ep was hilarious) . When fear& has a guest, they want to talk about their topics that the guest has no input on.
Qt is the only one aware of this.

What is the point of even having a guest appear on this podcast? It's always just the OG 4 yapping the entire time about topics they wanted to cover to begin with... while the guest sits there wondering "why am I even here?" FanFan stayed silent because she had no clue about the topics being discussed nor did they interest her. If a guest is giving their time to be on the podcast, at least make it about them - put effort into doing research about topics that interest the guest! It's irritating because this podcast has more potential than it currently does - and lets not even talk about the less appealing setup compared to their old one.

@@semibbcI don’t think that’s it… I think Hasan is just genuinely fascinated by TS and the fact that QT likes her as an artist makes him even more excited to discuss it (it’s a lot of what he talked about with Fuslie who is a swiftie too) but he doesn’t read the comments so he doesn’t see how people often get on QT for it and blame her bc they’re tired of TS even when he brings it up. that’s it. QT is incredibly interesting and entertaining and has so so much to contribute as a co-host outside of being a fan of TS who is obviously controversial in this community.

@@Siureivax I don't think he intended or said anything mean-spirited here. He just made some light humor about "not offending the Swifties" which is a common joke made of many fandoms. Obviously he's a non-fan but he knows he isn't the target audience and doesn't mock people who enjoy it; he said that article went way too far. Overall, he's pretty respectful of QT about it and even went as far as to listen to the entire album for QT and admitted TS has some bops

As a person who usually listens to Fear&, i would say this episode had no guest until 50minutes into the episode. 😂 QT coming in with the clutch at 50minutes in.

I think the most disappointing thing about TTPD for me was the fact that the aesthetics, the theme, and the name for the album are so cool and different for her. But in the end, what we got musically was very much quintessential, typical Taylor Swift. It also gave very much recent Drake in the lack of editing, quantity over quality approach. I would've loved to see her flex creatively a bit more and have made this a full-on concept album since it had that potential....or at the very least I wish Aaron Dressner would've produced the whole thing.
But regardless of if the album was mid or not, QT's listening stream was so much fun.

*Edit after watching.... Another classic Fear& episode, the guys talking amongts themselves and forgetting about QT and the guest. When they do talk they cut them off and go back to their own topic.. You could see Qt knew fanfan was barely a guest. But she also seems tired since this was filmed after masterbaker so it makes sense.

Any guest on this podcast always gets overshadowed - there really isn't a point for a guest to appear on it at all.
If anyone that is watching doesn't like QT or anyone else on this pod then y'all should really go find something else. Nothing makes my Monday better than seeing this group sit and chat about whatever they feel like.
I am a Swiftie and I absolutely agree with QT. The vault tracks were in the vault for a reason. And for this new album, with so many songs, there was enough extra to trim the bits that weren't good. Because you recorded 31 songs doesn't mean you have to release all 31, you can realize that some are not up to the standard. Because the album has some goods songs but they're buried in a ton of mid songs, and it is hard to uncover them when you have to listen through the whole thing first.
Yeah I can only imagine that the response to the vault tracks and the positive response of midnights’ bonus tracks made Taylor think that we wanted AS MANY SONGS AS POSSIBLE. And I kinda do- but 31 is way too much

I also think personally if she is going to release 31 songs, than just release half as vault songs so at least there’s a premise of like “these are the ones that didn’t make the cut because I wrote so many but maybe they’ll resonate with you so here” instead of just all 31 songs with no ranked order of importance or quality
@@ArgoBargoyeah, part of the fun of the vault tracks too is new songs from a past era along with the revisits of the older ones, not just having more songs on the album
Yeah, Louis Tomlinson has said the same shit about his songs he wrote 100+ songs in a sitting and then experimented with them and then gave them away or kept them locked up cause they aren't what he wants now as an artist like he's grown past them. 🤷 Even his previous albums aren't up to par with his current progress of his new album and that's fun to see especially if you're an artist and want to keep advancing and not doing the same old thing.
What sucks is when you guys bring guests that are maybe socially awkward and ignore them till the end of the podcast and say "oh our guest hasn't talked much in this podcast lets ask them one question and move on." don't have guest you aren't that interested in talking to have more guests like tana or valkyrae.

Love how I'm 45 minutes in and the guest has said like 5 words. "I brought topics!" Maybe part of your topics should be about your guest. (How did you find streaming, who are your favorite streamers, why did you not follow up on your college degree, how did you get your username, etc.) These idiots even though I love them, should either never invite a guest or actually lean into the guest. Even if you bring up random topics at least ask the guest about the topic and try to elaborate what they're saying not just have your guest sit there for an hour barely saying a thing. I've worked in drug harm minimisation (judgement-free) and I just wanna check in on Marche and make sure he's aware of the damage ket does to the bladder and kidneys when used regularly. It's a fun drug, no doubt, but it's also one that can be easy to get into trouble with. I encourage him (and anyone else) to just look up safer practices so it stays on the fun side💜

For hosts that don't want to visit Ohio, they sure talk about it often and have a genuine fascination. They should just go to Cedar Point for a day, since it has the most rollercoasters in the United States. Hasan knows that Cleveland will host the RNC like always and can do content on it, as well as the human interest stories like the Midwestern sport of drunk driving. Just means they have to acclimate to the Midwestern Nice communication style, but if Hasan can become more Australian in one trip, he can learn the Midwest and Appalachian dialects too.

That is why record companies pay so much money to have their songs constantly on the waves: The more you listen to a song, the more you like it.
Of course that's true but you also need time to truly understand a song, especially for Taylor's songs since her songwriting is what stands out, and especially when it's 31 songs.
