Maybe she is like me and means it in a way that she cares, but looking into your situation, it seems more likely that she isn't interested in a relationship because she should be investing time in you just as much as you would do for her. I'd simply ask her outright, tell her how much you like her and that you'd like her to be honest in how she feels about you and if she doesn't give you an answer then you'll start dating other people. She might be confused about how she feels but she cannot expect you to wait around in the background until she decides to tell you how she feels. I'd also say something about the flowers and poem, why she reacted that way and should you take that as a sign of rejection in terms of dating. She may only be showing interest because her family is also interested in you which sadly happens sometimes. But if you say there is a spark maybe there is but she's scared of her feelings or something. Really depends on your ages too. For older people that behaviour is not really acceptable.

For #7, asking for relationship advice, while that is a definite valid point, I have heard of a couple of cases where a guy asked for romantic advice from a girl, then used the advice with that same girl that just gave them the advice.

Girl, you don’t even know. I was in the EXACT same situation last year. I had to eventually decide between my friendship and a possible bf. I of course chose my friendship and helped my girl get the dude. She ended up dating him for a week then moving on. Afterwards, him and I became really good friends and I found out he liked me at one point in time. Buuuuuuut. My best friend (who i hadn’t told about her ex’s and my new friendship in fear of chastisement) started having feelings for him again. So after a few months of really getting to know and really appreciate this guy, she goes with him on an orchestra field trip and gets back together with him. Only dating him for a week again before dumping him. So YEAH after that I gave up on him. (I don’t blame her in the least Bc she never knew about my feelings and I still love her to death). When I was in freshman year of high school, I got stuck in a PE class with only girls, but I didn’t fall for the sporty girls. Alright everyone, bit of advice here. If you know your crush doesn’t return your feelings, heck, even if they DO, don’t get too clingy. It’s a harsh thing to say and hear, but when you’re constantly trying to be around someone you like and ALWAYS making any excuse to be around them and talk to them, it’ll almost certainly put them off. Don’t stop talking to them or hanging out with them in general, just be discreet about your feelings in case it makes your crush uncomfortable, because no matter how kind and loving you are, some people can’t stand being crushed on. Unfortunately I’ve made this mistake once or twice, and I’ve had someone act this way towards myself. Trust me, I know.
