If I had alot going on in the rest of the room, I would totally do #1. It showcases that elegant mirror. Simple but beautiful. I kept thinking the second jug on the left threw the symmetry off for the second look. I'm an Accountant, we need REAL symmetry, no grey areas. I would remove the second jug and then add another mug in its place. And then it would be symmetrical!
My mantel is a little challenging. We have a free standing fire place with a chimney pipe going up in the center in front of our wood mantel , thus giving a divided look to it ( hopefully that makes sense lol) Love the flowers and ferns in the 2nd idea! It helps to see hints of spring inside while waiting out the last bit of winter ❤💙💛💜
I like both mantles, but I think the second mantle is my favorite! I have a similar blue glass jug and vintage mason jars on my mantle right now with a large clock above!
Love them all actually but i too, use the group of three in my home. It just always seems to look better that way. Love the clock! Tfs💖Have a blessed day💖
I prefer symmetry; however, both were lovely! I do not have a mantel. We have a tiled fireplace from top to bottom with a mounted tv. There are built in shelves on each side so it is like I have 2 mantels to decorate. Question: Would you suggest the same rules to apply to each side?
While I looove the mirror in the first display, I think I prefer the fullness and color in the second. Maybe the first display now as the mirror can be symbolic of the stillness and ice of winter. Then the second display as spring bursts out more fully.
THANK YOU for spelling "mantel" correctly! I prefer the second one, in part because the mirror was too glitzy for my taste. Both are beautiful, though!
It is *frequently* mixed up. I don't know why it annoys me so much, but it's a pet peeve. I get unreasonably excited when someone spells it correctly! :)
It is so refreshing to see your lovely decor in your lovely ho me.Beautiful the first look rather simple but beautifully presented.I love the large clock plus gorgeous coloured glass.Super looks , you have done very good. Thank you for video and blessings and greetings and hugs.xxx
I think both are beautiful, but for my own taste, I prefer the first. I have changed over the last couple of years. If I had seen this 5 years ago, I would definitely say, the second. Now, to me, less is more.
I love the tulips in the mug! And the rule of odd numbers or threes is always a good one! I like the second mantel the best. I just decorated and filmed my spring mantel! I wish I watched this first! :)
hello, i love the rustic design best...would love to make or at least try but I don't know where I could find the electrical wheel...any suggestions? I do love the tulips....tfs

Hi. Ich definitly like your second one besten. I love the mugs with the tulips. The mirror ist Wow!!!!!! But not for my mantelpiece. Thanks for your inspiring ideas.
Love this series! I always struggle with a shelf in my small dining room. The furniture seems to take over, and I think using your first mantel design would open up the space. Thanks!
Which mantel idea do you prefer?
The DIY Mommy both are beautiful but I prefer the first one ! I'm so ready for spring too 💖
I can't wait! 🌷❤️
I definitely prefer the second one. I love the pieces in the first one, but it needed a little something else in my opinion.
I prefer the 2nd look. They both are gorgeous, though. You always know how to put things together to get a gorgeous look!
# 2
I like both. I would add the cups and tulips to the first one with the mirror. Really pretty.💕
I love them both but if you want me to pick I'll pick the second one as my favorite! I LOVE the clock 😊
Love style #1. You just gave me an idea of what to do.
I love your video because you give more than one option for the same place. Genious.

They're both lovely Christina, that mirror! ❤️ I cannot wait for the Spring weather to come and stay.
Old World Home Thank you! Me too!

Looks beautiful. I don’t think this is groups of three because you have the white lantern that makes it four in my eye
Love these looks ! I think I would go for the first one - probably because I love the vintage books! Thank you Christina xxx
Very helpful. Thank you
I love both styles so much that I decided you should just do both!
I really like the 2nd one because its rustic/shabby chic
Love the second idea, I love rustic and country!
Love that clock you made.
I like both mantles, but I think the second mantle is my favorite! I have a similar blue glass jug and vintage mason jars on my mantle right now with a large clock above!
Thanks for all your tips! Both styles look great 👍
I like the second design the best as I prefer symmetry and I like have more items on display. The first design is nice, too, though!

Thank you!
I like the second look it's more together💟👍

Sounds beautiful! I would decorate the shelves with different items, but keep everything colour coordinated and balanced.
They're all beautiful! I love your Channel, you share with us so many different things. Nice ideas, tu.
Thank you so much!

absolutely beautiful 😍 always in love 😍
Looooooove the second one
I always love your tips! I like the strength and balance of the symmetrical one but am partial to the decor pieces you used in the first styling!😍
LovedHappy Thank you!
While I looove the mirror in the first display, I think I prefer the fullness and color in the second. Maybe the first display now as the mirror can be symbolic of the stillness and ice of winter. Then the second display as spring bursts out more fully.
Natty Rags Great idea. Thank you!
I loved them both but you know how I feel about that clock lol
THANK YOU for spelling "mantel" correctly! I prefer the second one, in part because the mirror was too glitzy for my taste. Both are beautiful, though!
Linda Hyland Thank you! And "mantel" vs "mantle" is often mixed up, isn't it?
It is *frequently* mixed up. I don't know why it annoys me so much, but it's a pet peeve. I get unreasonably excited when someone spells it correctly! :)
Linda Hyland. ha ha...I am the same way about "loose" when someone is trying to say "lose"😉
Right??? I'm glad I'm not alone! :)
Nicely done
Horrisa Jones Thanks so much!
Kind of liked the second one but really not sure about the mugs at all.
Yes!!! Thought the same thing!! looks like someone just left their coffee cups on the mantel and the clock thing is like 10 years ago...
It is so refreshing to see your lovely decor in your lovely ho

I think both are beautiful, but for my own taste, I prefer the first. I have changed over the last couple of years. If I had seen this 5 years ago, I would definitely say, the second. Now, to me, less is more.
I think the way you had it with the mirror but switch out mirror for clock.
The first one ;)
I like the second mantel, but I would take out the ferns.
Like 1.. Love simplicity.. Great drop.👍👍
👍👍👍👍!!!!😘😘😘
Second one
Work on the balance and volume of the background music. Very difficult to hear you.
I couldn't hear you talking just the music
I love the tulips in the mug! And the rule of odd numbers or threes is always a good one! I like the second mantel the best. I just decorated and filmed my spring mantel! I wish I watched this first! :)
I just love EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!! I love the mantel looks. I love decorating my mantel

Janice Estes Sounds beautiful!
This is so timely for me! I am starting to pull out my spring decor, and want to stage my mantel. Both are beautiful, but I prefer #2.
