Probably the most asked for video of the last few months! We knew it was going to happen, just not this soon! The 5th V1 Series ever installed was a replacement on a C8 that had the Vertical Doors Inc brand kit on it.
This shows real world, instant comparison of our new kit up against the VDI kit. Also includes actual pressure it takes to open/lift the two kits.
Our main goal when designing our kit was to improve every aspect that the VDI kit struggles in. We wanted to make something much smoother, easier to operate, and easy access getting in and out. We've been saying we have done just that, but now and finally, here is the actual proof.

It's cool to see the differences side by side. The biggest difference to me was how much higher the door went up on the V1 kit... looked like at least a foot or so. That and the fact that it took double the force to raise the Vertical Doors version. You really engineered a nice kit Tim, nice job. 2:42 LMAO - the sealed bearings were a nice touch. Not sure I'd get used to that "Yelp" every time I closed the door 🤣 Are you going to be at Carlisle next month and if so, do you have any openings for an install?
So does this mean Eikon is going to replace my vertical doors with their kit for free?
I wish we could! We are working out some things to see what kind of a deal we can give to those with the other brand on there car

it doesnt f*** matter which edge is how far from ground!! There are different people with different heights. Always! Its only about the single human individual and their stupity to hit their head at the door!! Just watch out n be careful - thats it!! As life usual goes generally!

Will you ever offer a McLaren style door for the C8, vertical doors offers one but I’m really unimpressed with the clearance. You pretty much have to have the windows down when you get in and out of the car or else you’ll always have to duck under the glass.
Yes that’s why we never sold or installed them. They had to many complaints. I don’t think we’re going to mess with that style due to the direction we are going with our kits. We will be working on our electric version soon.

How many v1 installs total have you done to date? My research tells me you're quite backlogged. I won't want my hard earned money tied up for 2 yrs.
Our website gives you installation date options and we are within the ranges you choose. Within 8 weeks, 4 weeks, 2 weeks or 1 week. 😊
When do the installs start again?
