Video shows Rocky and her new pup, designated PO10 (10th pup born on Oahu in 2024), on the morning of her birth. You can see the umbilical cord still attached. Video also includes scenes of the pup nursing, something not always seen on the first day.
Hawaiian Monk Seals are an Endangered Species. Please give them their space, especially nursing mothers who can be extra protective of their pups.
