The yellow lines indicate that its cold (on the rev counter). They are dynamic and disappear when it gets warmer, as you can see when he revs it.

This is what annoys me about Car Makers. We have these iconic cars that petrolheads/gearheads love, they make a car that is nowhere near as good as the car its named after, example, Supra. Just a Z4 in a komodo. Wish they'd make the cars we fell in love with like this E46, the Supra, Skyline, etc. which BTW sounds glorious! Always trust the Germans with 6 cylinders!
