  • One year ago today we lost the Rhinestone Cowboy. Glen Campbell left a great legacy of beautiful music for us all and I’m the luckiest guy in the world to call him my friend.

Great stuff Steve. I'm a longtime fan of Glenn and I enjoyed this post. You are an awesome picker too.

Is this THE Steve Wariner? If so, I agree that you were mightily blessed to have been a friend of his. I have been counting down to this day. I think I've seen all his online videos, interviews, performances, etc., so I'm surprised to find this new vid today as we commemorate the day he went home to be with the Lord. Is there any possibility that you have more that you can upload? Loved the two of you on the "Galveston" vid! One thing about Glen you could count on ... he always surrounded himself with the *best* musicians.
P.S. When and where was this video made?

Glen Campbell didn't get a fraction of the credit he deserved for being such a monster picker. Maybe that had to do with perceptions of him as more of a singer than a picker. But damn that boy could play!
