Another excellent Finnegan production. Great to be out chopping grass when the weather is good. Well done Cathal for making Paul and the team look good, a great achievement 😂 Keep on keeping on
Ah the days of long draws in a 6195R and a tri axle in tow on some of Meath’s quality back roads 🙄 and the odd gobshite of a car driver like a rabbit in headlights!! A change of scenery from the office job and great banter. Cracking video lads. 🚜💨
Great silage video I just want to say about your tedding the grass we were told and have had good results by never lifting the Tedder while turning at the headlands gives less lumps.Every time you lift and drop you create light and heavy spots in the crop. We had been using 6 and 8 rotor krone till last year and now we use a 12 meter Fendt which is just the natural replacement of the lely I took a video of the 2 makes working together the lely style hooked tyne certainly throws it higher in the air
@@finnegansfarm9137I wouldn’t want to name a make you shouldn’t buy even if the same company makes excellent other grass machinery but on past experience krone is the best for reliability. The 8 rotor is very little more expensive than a 6 covering only slightly more width because the 8 has smaller rotors and it’s transport width is less than a 4 or 6 rotor. The 8 rotor is a good match for spreading three 10 foot swards Our Fendt preformed well with the hook tyne which is the same as a Massey or your Lely. The smaller Fendt/Massey tedders are really a Fella rake which I don’t know much about. I am also hearing good things about the Malone tedders. Last year the krone and Fendt in the same field travelling slowly covered an acre a minute
Fantastic video guys!! Bit of everything going on!! AND some juicey gossip on a Fastrac going to Farmer Phil 👏🏻👌🏻 just 1 question : did Paul help with pit….. in my experience of silage and Pits…. it’s rare the harvester man lifts a finger outside his cab 🤔😜😜
Great video from " The F Team 👌 " really miss these draws alongside the Harvester🚜🚜 Don't think Cathal would make a good Teacher ....🤭 poor Fiona was traumatised....or was it Cathal...🤔😂
Great video guys! Just a question on the tedder, is there a reason the guards are on the back as they are normally fitted on the front to stop you hitting a pole?
1:13 Absolutely stunning screenshot from the drone footage. Excellently produced video overall.
Some nice views alright Dell
You haven't lived until you've buckraked silage with a Massey 135. You get off at night with a dead clutch leg 😁😁😁😁👍👍
That’s for sure Gerard no gym required!
@@finnegansfarm9137 been there done that with MF 188 worse again with a huge high clutch pedal, my left knee is bone on bone 40 years later 😑
@@gerryoconnor8751 been there ,done that and with cranky Diff lock ,
Best of luck with the silage you can't beat the home of a harvester 🙏🇮🇪
She’s humming nicely Myles

Extra storage for bales and beats dirty tyres or even the sand bags.
Anything but them tyres Robert 🥱

I don’t think any Harvester man helps with the pit it’s one of the perks of the job 🤔🤔

I think good pupil but bad teacher Michael alright poor Fiona is actually Phoebe 😂😂
Lovely looking grass , should be top quality, 75DMD, hopefully. Lucky got it before weather broke. I'm still waiting to get a couple of fine days 🙃.
Hard to get them few days Gerry
Great video lads 👌
John B pressure NO 🤣, legend
John doesn’t do pressure Donal you can tell from videos 😂
@@finnegansfarm9137 he's unreal Cathal serious man rowing in the grass
Well Cathal, can I ask drone you use. Iam using the DJI mini poverty model! It gives a good bit of bother connecting with the iPhone.
Hi Mr finnegan it's lisa
Good job lads
Thanks Brian 👍
Miss it I do
Great video as always. Would you not put Marco on the pit with the loader 🙈🙊🤠
He’d knock the place Brendan 😂😂
Ye must have a fair owd wages every week 😲 smashed the grass anyways 👌☀️
Good men are worth it Andrew 👍
So we'll ur passing lads out with half loads JCB driver!!!
On the way to next field John 👍
He seems to be driving to far ahead of the 860, makes it very hard to fill the front of the trailer
Great video guys! Just a question on the tedder, is there a reason the guards are on the back as they are normally fitted on the front to stop you hitting a pole?
That’s the way it came Aidan !
Get a rounded mirror for the side of the harvester so the trailer men can see into the trailer
Good idea Ray would be a big help👍
There`s only one way to do it, and that`s " The Finnegan Way"
Good man Tom 👍
Is this a son of the fella who owns the farm?
Yep
One comment starting a tractor and reving it up not good Fast tick over better until oil gets round journals etc
Tractors had already been warmed up it was just for special effect for video Bob but glad you noticed 👍
Reving. When you start tractor not good
Great video lads 👌
