Excellent video and grade of fish. Great gaff work and gorgeous weather. Everyone looks like they were having a great time. Excellent care of fish, and being a long time deckhand and commercial albacore fisherman in Oregon it's very important to let the crew pull on fish once in a while. Love your videos
Steve and Cat thanks for the update. I could imagine how you both are up to your elbows in alligators being newlyweds and all. Looking forward to seeing you guys in July 😊
@@jtuck682 yeah we’ve had some personal things that have kept us both off the water more than we would have liked this season which makes it hard to pump out these videos, but we are happy in our newlywed season nonetheless 🥰
Thanks 4 answering ? On Bow fighting techniques on step, I'm sure it will help our game on 🎣 the Legends Bow. Great quality 📹 See u on Monday afternoon, hopefully we r going south my freezer is full of BF already, sure would be nice to get some of that YF 🍣👍
Can you give some advice on tackle For your trips rods, reels, line, hooks, knots that work. Each time is based on size and type. But maybe a real time for trips by month and hunt.
Absolutely! Check out our tackle playlist. We have a tackle video here for our bluefin trips, Bluefin Tuna Tackle Suggestions ua-cam.com/video/aewi1HSNyjc/v-deo.html as well as rod and reel comparison videos.

Where can i sigh up this kind of fishing trip?
@@guigui7783 our schedule is available at hmlanding.com/legend 😊
What Rod class and brand would you recommend for this grade of Yellowfin? TY
Get a Phenix axis HAX-C 8’2” 30-80 or a HAX-C 8’2” 25-60. Not very expensive and great quality rod. I have 8 Phenix rods.
how far down is this , overnight or 1/12 day trips ?
@@Tony67032 This was a 3 day trip
@@Tony67032this was a 3 day trip. But the fish are 150 miles plus from Point Loma. So a minimum 1.5 is needed to reach em.
@@AndyVanderveerdebondt I’d recommend a couple options, 7-8 ft rods rated 30-50 lb & 60-80 lb
Deckhand @ 2:31 SMH....
