Hello there 😊 I heard about your channel from Hygge Stitcher, and I am glad I did! I liked very much your first episode! I am a stitcher, knitter, and crocheter. I'd thought many times about diamond painting, but I don't think I have the space for it, so I haven't tried that. The design you had behind you with the dragon, and the dust bunnies is a design I really like. When I was thinking of trying my first HAED that was the first candidate, but in the end I chose the "Trick or Treat 2", which is an other design from Randal Spangler.
Also, thanks a lot for showing your project bags. I love project bags. I just started making my own, and I love looking at all the different fabric combination everyone is choosing.
The fabric you chose for your mermaid it will work fine, in my opinion.
So, thanks again for the great video! I am going to watch the rest of them now, looking forward to seeing the progress on your beautiful projects 🧵🪡🧶

I like your color way better on the Fairy Garden, too. That was my first impression when you showed the pattern picture. I too am in love with autumn colors, but I love smalls for instant gratification and works well for grouping in holiday displays. You have some lovely pieces. I was drawn to your UA-cam channel by the owl picture in your thumbnail. Owls are my spirit animal. If you could find the name of the pattern I would be very grateful. I am from Wisconsin in USA. For your fairy pattern, La La Dee Stitches does some really pretty "soft" finishes - just fabric bordered quilted wall hangings, and that could look really pretty, especially since it doesn't have a huge margin. It's so pretty!

Welcome to Flosstube lovely, great 1st show, loved it!!! I am in Gippsland Victoria and started cross stitch 3 years ago. I am currently working on Hello by Liz Matthews All Hallows Eve, its slow progress, the mistakes have been many so rip out and re-do has been happening. I have 2 other WIP’s one is a freebie from Fat Quarter Shop which is 3/4 done and the other I downloaded off the Silk app, Quaker which is also 3/4 done - ALL have been in time out, I find it quite frustrating but at the same time, Im liking it!!! I have a tip of patterns, floss and fabric. I started on 14 count Aida, now on 25 count. Have attempted linen, with no idea about it all and put it down as I couldnt understand why it wasnt working however after a huge amount of flosstube viewing I now understand where I went wrong with the linen so maytime to try again!!! You cross stitches you showed are absolutely beautiful, loved them all. The is a online cross stitch shop in Tasmania called A Stitch in time, I have gotten a few things from her and the postage compared to overseas is very reasonable. I have also found online 2 websites that are here in Australia for DMC floss, now if you wanting country cottage threads she is about 40 mins away from where i live, I have a heap of her threads that are simply gorgeous so have a look at her website as well. I knit, crochet and make quilts so i can pick and choose each night what I am going to do whilst watching TV. Cannot wait to see your progress on the Mirrabilla’s soon.

Well done on your first Flosstube! I’m in Sydney and use two ‘stores’ for most of my supplies. A Stitch in Time is a Tasmanian LNS and JK’s Cross Stitch Supplies is on the Central Coast of NSW. I’ve found both to be really good - I’m sure you’ll find them both online. 🐨👍

Great first video Tammy! Love your positioning of your Mira mermaid on the fabric! For Lady of the Mist though, I'd be afraid the Mire fabric would compete too much with the pattern. Number12Stitchco has some lighter, less mottled, blue-greens that maybe could work? Look forward to more 👍

Yea I think you are right about the fabric.I might have to do a bit more research! 🤔

56 count is smallest. But to help you see the smaller count you can get a lighted magnifier. There are lots of ones to choose from

You did great on your first floss tube. Love your projects your mirabilia is just gorgeous she (the royal holiday) will be beautiful at Christmas. Your mermaid is stunning on that fabric. I think Alice in wonderland would be just great which ever fabric you continue her on so far she looks great. If you must get ride of your aida I would love it but I have to get you something or trade? Maybe I can find your Kreinik thread or get a piece of linen for you. Thank you again for your flosstube nice job

Love this! Not sure if you’ll see this as I’m so late, but I’m so curious… what book were you reading on your camping trip? I love to listen to books and stitch, so I love recommendations.

Sure, the book was called The Fold by Peter Clines.......it's kind of like a sci-fi/mystery. I found it really gripping, but the ending was a little disappointing haha like it was good, but I feel like the author could have done more with it.....haha I think I don't like it when I can predict the ending and I think it was just a bit too obvious.....but the rest of the story was really good. ☺

Really enjoyed your video and all of your beautiful projects. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work! Just a bit of info about your favorite sci-fi movie-it was released in 1956 so it’s quite a bit older than you! The first color film was made in 1908 and Gone With the Wind (1939) was the first movie of the year to be filmed in color. The Wizard of Oz (1939) also won an award for use of color. Films had been made in color prior to that but aren’t as well known. Just some fun film facts.😀

Hello! Lovely video and I love the fabric you chose for the mermaid - very clever placing her under the light, looks fantastic! Did you say you're stitching her on 36 count? If yes, you may want to consider usng smaller beads as the bigger ones may not fit. I'm also going to stitch the Autumn Town later this year, maybe we should have a SAL? Looking forward to seeing all your progress!

Ooo I'm all in for a SAL hehe! 😄The beads did sit a little big but I felt like they were ok in the end, thanks for the advice though I think next time I'll pay more attention to it 😉

@@TammysCinnamonStitches haha hes, I saw your next video after writing this comment and your mermaid looks lovely! I was always scared of stitching these fancy patterns on higher counts as even in 32 count I had problems making the beads sit nicely but it's good to see that it can be done! Yey for the sal! 😁

Hi Londa thank you so much! Unfortunately, I can't tell you the exact name of the pattern however I've been informed that it is a Bothy Thread chart. I would recommend searching on ebay or amazon for Bothy thread Owls and hopefully it will come up for you! 😊
