Not that I'll ever buy another BC Rich again (I used to own a Warlock and an Ironbird), but I would love to see BC Rich make good quality guitars without having to spend thousands. Metal is always better with BC Riches around.
B.C. Rich just give this man a signature ignitor already. B.C. Rich built this channel and he save y'all from being forgotten like the Dave Mustaine Kramers.
I used to have a Warlock, and I just didn't really like to play it. I didn't really have a very good amp at the time though, so that might have been a big part of why I just never got the sound out of it that I was after.
Sup K, hey so BC Rich is exactly why I tuned in to your first BC Rich video . I freaking love IRONBIRDZ 🤘. That said, I wanted to buy a new neon green Warlock or Ironbird. You know the ones with the single pickup. I waited and waited for those guitars to come available, but alas nope. So I ended up buy a Jackson RRX24. The black with green bevels. Not my first choice but, I got a reverse Jackson HS, neck through, and green shark tooth inlays. Green inlays..you never see that. Anyways I hope BC Rich can make it happen. Good luck 👍 🤘
As of right now I've had a mockingbird legacy on pre-order for so long that I just generally forget that I ever pre-ordered it in the first place. Until I get the emails notifying me that it's still on backorder. Which have actually begun to get tagged by the spam filter in my email. My sales rep called me yesterday to tell me, "It will get here on the 18th." but I'm not holding my breath because it has had a new ship date every month, for months. And it's sad. I love bc rich guitars. The mockingbird, the gunslinger, the ironbird, and I would love to give them money in exchange for guitars. They just have no guitars. We're at a point where the only way to get a BC Rich.. is to buy a Chinese counterfeit.
Nice. I'm with you in wanting the best for the brand, but I've given up on waiting for them to make a guitar I would buy. I just finished shaping the neck joint on a 7 string Stealth I decided to build for myself. The MK1 Ironbirds look great, but they're way too expensive. they're about twice what I would be willing to pay.
Their current lineup is as quixotic as their history. I guess COVID messed up their relaunch plans but instead of catching up, it seems they threw new versions of their models into the mix to complicate things even more. The "prophecy" series, the mixing of US custom shops with imports in the "legacy" series and the lack of Warlocks and overdose on "Shredzillas" is confusing. I'm not a fan of cheap looking abalone to the max but the "extreme" series is about the only thing that is consistent. Speaking of "legacy"... not using the classic "R" logo is a missed opportunity, as is the lack of an "Eagle". Also would have been cool to see 25.5" 6 string versions of the "B", Mockingbird, Ironbird, Warlock in the "extreme" lineup since most modern players detune. That being said, I've played BC Rich since the 80's and the only reason I ever stop playing them is the endless confusion and constant changes.
Be careful folks, they are switching up specs again without notice. The Erik Rutan model went from a Floyd Rose Original to a Floyd Rose 1000 without notice. Stranger Things guitar 2.0?
@@sole__doubt and there's quite a few of the major brands that are teetering on or are currently in bankruptcy, a single extra GLANCE of inspection during production runs would save millions in returns or people just quiting because nobody who's paid to check did it first
They got it right with the NJ Series. Great sounding playing guitars with amazing features for under a grand. Now they’re making 1500 dollar guitars that have the same quality control issues as their super cheap guitars of the late 90s early 2000s but hey abalone and purdy colors
I just wish they would stop putting abalone on everything. I hated it when Schecter did it too. A little bit in an inlay or a touch uere and there is one thing but the entire binding of a guitar makes me want to cry. I managed to get my old neckthru BCR Exclusive back after 10 years. The old neckthru NJ Classic line were really solid mod platforms. Super great playability and construction with average hardware. Mines getting Gotoh bridge and tuners, going to handmake some pickups for it and refret with stainless and add a nubone nut. Such a beautiful axe with pitch black ebony board and it deserves the rest of the guitar to be just as good. Until recently the last exciting thing for me was their 7 string Kerry Kings more than 10 years ago.
I wanted a Chuck stealth for so long, when they have announced it back in 2020 i was hype as F but when i see 1.5k price tag on the Korean which are supposed to be the affordable one. I lose hope to one day be able to get one.
As far as B.C. Rich as a company? It will never return to it's true legacy. Once Bernie Rico sold out that company died. Huge difference between the originals and what came after. Anyone who plays 70's and 80's made high end guitars knows what I am talking about. Everyone should get a chance to play these amazing instruments. Cheers.
They have MULTISCALE now too~~~!!! ALso, found a 91 black an green crackle Warlock on Reverb right now in GREAT shape. Hope the right person gets it. It needs played and loved. its a biut out of my budget at the moment so why not share the ingfo
If i'd known the brand would undergo such a messy shitstorm upon being revived a few years back, I would have sold a couple of guitars for an original Schuldiner tribute Stealth back in the day. That's all I want
I really love the Ironbird shape, and I guess that I'm gonna just find a luthier to make me a custom Ironbird body for a Jackson neck. Used BC Rich guitars are literally nonexistent in Serbia, there are only the really cheap, crappy ones that are better used as a firewood.
u would definitely have many more options for customization, bridge options, pickup configurations etc etc. and you could probably make it happen for a reasonable price, and have it turn out better than the average mid line BC Rich. go for it dude!
@@sawtrapstunnaaa Yea, but more likely I'm gonna be going for an Ironbird bass. Gonna find one of the cheap Jackson bass necks on the used market and find a luthier who'd like to make my dream come true. I'd be going for a PP pickup configuration.
I do this but with ibanez, i had a 7 string iceman before they released the iron label version. It will probably be more expensive to get a good quality copy if you cant find someone who has the 3d models to make it with CNC or gonna need an ironbird to copy lol

Oh silly BC Rich. I have no idea how they’re still managing to stay in business, but maybe they will manage to figure their shit out this time around. Then you can restore to factory settings and create new Instas that have no attachments to you and your gf each time they realize their fave investigative guitar journalist is on their account. Gotta keep them guessing instead of like using their time to like, I dunno, make guitars, lol.
Those are horrific. I'll take a Spalted Maple Mockingbird with a LP stop bar tail and an R logo on the headstock. No script BC Rich logo, and I'd like to pay less than $1,000.00 for it. I'll take a very light colored NJ Mockingbird with the R logo. Had one of those and it was one of the most perfect guitars I ever played. That guitar was titties. The ebony fretboard with the cloud inlays was beautiful. Black/cream pickups. Was stunning.
I’m praying for a mark 2 prophecy stealth. I want a white one with a Floyd with a reverse traditional like on my current stealth. It’s an 84 NJ, wouldn’t mind a v like that either.
I've been waiting for the Korean Schuldiner Stealth for like what 3 years now since they announced it?.. Now I don't even want it anymore, those new Iron Birds with reverse headstocks look great but I'll pass on anything BC Rich.
