boost converter can be used as variable voltage in your station and u can use simple smd boost converter for 35v ..... there r lots flaws ... like AC is noisy n unstable, u should use mini ac inverter from market comes with all protections n beautiful sinwave output ......... u r using so much power conversion and each one lossing energy in your charging ..... 5v to 12vdc thn bms 12 v to again 3.7 dc ..... in charger mpt can be used .....

Good project, though the only issue with this is that the AC output you are getting here is in square wave form which can damage most electronics or even cause humming noise in electrical gadgets. The only positive point of a square wave is that it can charge batteries like lead acid much quickly due to its peak rise in voltage/current. A modified sine wave inverter could have been a better choice if the pure sign wave was unavailable. A square wave inverter could have been made almost close to a sine wave form with the help of caps and LC circuits.. this would smoothen up the waveform though slightly dropping the wave amplitude but then it will work with all your equipment.

3s lithium ion battery charger voltage should be 12.6. not 12v. You are not getting full capacity with 12v charger

Safer and longer lasting for this chemistry to not charge it full. Propably the only safe thing about this project, sadly.

@@Teknopottu yeah its safer but i think he dont care about safety

@@null7969 And he shows us buck and boost converters without using them to charge the batteries. He could add 5V USB input and boost the voltage suitable for the batteries instead of separate charger.

Yes, technically 3S is a 12v (or 12.6v) fully charged however, when you start to draw the power from a power station with 18650s you must consider the nominal voltage, hence, better go with 4s else with 3S as soon as you hook up a gadget and with power losses due to step up/down it will fall below 12v instantly and at 11.1v you will reach a nominal threshold... for healthier battery life, it must remain at such a charge but you'll end up using it until it depletes at 8.4v and shuts off.. that's not good for the batteries.. in addition, as voltage decreases, the batteries will start to produce more and more output current to maintain the required power resulting in more and more heat and lowering efficiency.

Very cool build!,!!! I agree with Square wave comment, easily remedied through. You’re gonna eat up that converter running motors or , if not an induction motor, you’ll destroy the brushes in the motor. Don’t get me wrong, I like the project a lot. Can’t wait to see what comes next. Random question…. When did everyone stop staggering the wire cuts and splices ? I just saw a video where the guy had a harness with 10 wire connector (16- 18 awg) and had all the splices 2 inches from the connector. Bizarre!! Thanks for the build video , very cool
