Painting work on engine and chassis can be done correctly only after dismantling the components. Painting this way is only an eye wash. One more thing, washing the chassis with soap water before painting, will produce lots of flash rust on the exposed steel. Better, wipe it with cleaning alcohol to remove dust and then coat the surface.
