I feel like fiend folio deserves its own final boss and its own ending just to complete this masterpiece
I think the goal of Fiend folio was to not add more floors but make the existing ones more interesting. They certainly did do that ^^

There must be at least 20 frames of animation on each of these bosses alone. Incredible effort.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, this mod adds some personality to the alternate floors that lack personality and I love that!

@@Soupurman By "empty", he's reffering to the boss pages on the wiki, not the bosses themselves. Most of those pages are quite literally empty right now.

Just as promised, here is the compilation of all bosses in Fiend Folio in one vid! Many of you were wondering about what the badge items do and what they are for, I will explain that in a video tomorrow or the day after before jumping into items/characters, a lot to cover in this awesome mod! Hope you guys are as excited about it as I am ^^

Unpopular opinion:
Cool ideas, very authentic graphic style, but i think a lot of first chapter bosses have too many attacks for their stage, they're would be more balanced with a bit longer delay between attacks. Idk, maybe it's only me, maybe it is supposed to be like this. Anyway, still like it, whispers, honeydrop and warpzone are the best in my opinion
Tsar's death animation is the best thing in tboi ever
They create funny shenanigans tho
The mod is harder on purpose.
You're supposed to add modded characters and items!
plus it does benefit from being added to a largely complete save file, though i’m just tacking it onto mine as i work through all of repentance
Just cause the bosses have unique and very interesting attacks doesn't mean they're insanely difficult compared to other bosses in teh same chapter. Bosses like Buck, meltdown, honeydrop, they're all super flashy with either multiple attacks or two phases, but they're not any more difficult compared to vanilla bosses on the same chapter like the haunt, baby plum or ragman. You just have to get used to their patterns and their attacks just like any other boss

I like the ideas of Meltdown and Pollution, having a harder variant floor horseman like boss to mimic the harder floor variant is pretty cool, however, no flooded caves variant horseman exists
the Flooded Caves and Scarred Womb new age horsemen are yet to be added but are confirmed to be called "Deluge", and "Propaganda" respectively.

@@opythegever The two new horsemen have unlocks which are equivalent to the Locust trinkets for the regular horsemen, but instead with Fleas, and as placeholders, Meltdown has "Flea of Deluge" as well as his themed one, and Pollution has "Flea of Propaganda" along with its own, too. It's obvious to assume that following that pattern, these will be the last two bosses.

I can only imagine how crazy it would be if this mod worked with the Deep Laboratories mod
All these bosses look like they live every waking moment in ceaseless agony.

Have you gotten the boss that warps you various rooms filled with eyes? The boss just.. standathere, changing between different wounded states while the room layout changes between cuts to black. The room name is Cacophobia

I love the Fiend Folio portrait at the start with the clickbaity arrows.
I still feel like this and Revelations should just be official DLC to the base game, I understand there are most likely reasons as to why they can't, but they always have so much effort and quality to them they look like they should be official.

The sun is light, and Issac is fighting in his mom... Looks like she let his light inside her.
The Warp Zone is also surprisingly capable of uno revere carding your Chaos Card!

there another boss/mini boss,this one it get through a active item that when sued in a tresure room with a item this will be destroy and leave a portal,this portal lead to a secret zone with the boss, (the hermit base in what say the item descrition),defeat the boss you get a better quality item
miniboss, not full boss.
Oh and the boss music is just perfect. Seriously this is one of the best mods to the game, asides from Antibirth

Cacophobia is the best boss.
I feel like the Whispers would be easier if you're The Lost or Tainted Lost. They don't have that much health and the inate spectral tears of the character just nullifies the obstacles.
