Please note, that this project does not try to imitate Charlie Chaplin but rather take creative inspiration from it.
I have deep respect for Charlie Chaplin and his work, and could therefore never perform as good as him!
It is not perfect. It is only a school-project!

This was a very charming film. Silent film recreations are very hard to pull off. Ignore the negative comments. They provide no help to you. You were inspired by excellent source material, and this was a worthy homage. Keep it up, this is your dream, and you're fulfilling it!

Not bad, but… the intro is too long, camera should be further away, film is too slow and „Charlie“ should be funny.

You just plagiarized The Immigrant and City Lights by combining and condensing them into a one reel short. At least you gave Chaplin credit for the music.
The girl is half Virginia Cherrill, half Edna Purviance. You just tried to imitate Chaplin’s tramp character; emphasis on tried.
There is nothing original about this.
It is fine to do it in black and white but why make it look like an old print with wear?
Audiences in 1917 and 1931 did not view worn out prints, nor were the films set 90 to 104 years earlier.
Try again using original characters and an original story set in the present day. I also agree with the other comment about the credits being too long at the beginning.
Other than that, how did you like the film? /s Perhaps you can show us one of yours, for comparison. Btw, your handle is plagiarized, so I wouldn't be so quick to cast stones.😒
Oh, and this is really a drama with little to no comedy, so it fails as an imitation of Chaplin, since his comedy dramas had much, much more funny bits.
