We get tickled often at people when we are videoing. You will have people who act like they don't want to be filmed and then deliberately get in the video. The burgers look great. Surprised that David did not get onion rings. One thing they lost me on was throwing peanuts on the floor I like my restaurant to look clean and I know this is just me. Thanks for all the work you do on the reviews.

If I'm not mistaken I think we ate here when we were in Myrtle Beach, it's been over 10 years since we've been here so don't remember much! I see they have a blooming onion as an appetizer and I'm almost curious what theirs is like and you can't go wrong with some hand cut fries either! Thanks for sharing!

I must start off by saying Carly's hat made me feel like I was about to watch a rerun of the Good, Bad and the Ugly one of my favorite movies. That food looked good and the portions were huge . I saw a burger I would order as you were scrolling past the menu , the OMG burger. Cindy your burger had no shortage of cheese. Loved all the license plates, thanks for taking me a long, forgot about the chilli cheese fries you could hardly pull them apart, God bless you all, until next time adios 🍔

Another winner! When I try a burger place, I tend to order a burger with a minimum of toppings. Or, just onions and mayo. Why? Toppings can obscure a multitude of sins! Especially fillers in the beef. Given their size on the menu, I'd have given the onion rings a try. Have a great weekend and God Bless!

My wife was in education for 50 years retired from school system teaching mostly 5th grade and went back part time (20 years lol) to work with and supervise student teachers at UNCG. Just saw your review on Shirt Sugars. Reidsville is about 50 miles for us. My Grandfather and family originally from there. I have a friend who had a car dealership there until he retired and sold it. Used to go there quite a bit. Have eaten at Short Sugars several times not a real fan of their BBQ. Much better places in N.C.
A peanut butter burger? wow! my hubby would probably try that, lol. I can see that you were on the fence about the burger and I like that you were gently honest, as its ok to be honest here. what im wondering is, do you recall if it was tender or was it kind of chewy? i get so many burgers that have little bone bits, time to time, even if bought from the store, so thats why i grind them myself at home anymore, but we do still have burgers out. its hard to get a truly tender burger now days. next time we go to murrells inlet, we may try that one out. my guess is we may go for the fall 2024 bike rally as we love staying way south, near there.
I have had peanut butter burgers before and they have been good. I thought the burger here was good. David really enjoyed his. I recently had a burger from Burger Bar and that was so outstanding that it makes other burgers not seem as good. I think the meat was tender. I would get chicken if we went back because I love chicken. I started to get chicken that night but I wanted to try the burger since that is what they are best known for. Hopefully you will be able to try it out and see what you think. People seem to really love this place.
