I played in a symphonic band for about 7 years and tool is my favorite band so the mix of this in company with how passionate they all seem actually made me cry😂 BEAUTIFUL!
@ That’s so awesome! I remember in school they had the color guard band come visit us and play the pieces we were practicing. Such a fond memory. They were all so nice and AMAZING players. Sidenote: My band never played any tool pieces which was very upsetting on its own - but it was even MORE upsetting when I found out my band teacher was a diehard fan of Tool/Maynard music I was like come on! 🤣
Man that snare feature at the beginning is so beautifully written - it comes out of nowhere, and before you know it the snares are going crazy - and that transition w/ the long roll had me shook at finals. Definitely my favorite show from these guys
Goosebumps during Lateralus’ climax. GOOSEBUMPS. I marched snare for 4 seasons, and Danny was my main motivation to stay disciplined both in core and on the kit. Absolutely wonderful job battery, pit, and whoever wrote such an amazing show.
Wow, I absolutely loved this performance! The use of sacred geometry in the choreography was so creative and mesmerizing to watch. I could really feel the energy and intention behind each movement. Such a beautiful blend of art and spirituality. Thank you for sharing this unique and inspiring piece with us! 🌟
JD - the left of center Marimba - Techs for my ensemble! so does bass 6, Logan. it was super cool to see this show evolve over the course of the season, JD & Logan put in a bunch of hours for us, and i couldn’t be more proud of them!
I saw this show in person and let me just say when I heard this song I started to go CRAZY OMG THIS SHOW IS SO AMAZING! TOOL IS SUCH A GREAT BAND TO USE IN PERCUSSION 🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌
i've always thought that tool makes music that's PERFECT for wgi and dci. to see that idea finally come to life in such a well-executed way is just... insane. i remember seeing this for the first time and being like 😨 the whole time.
It's been so long since anything has made me smile like this.. just absolutely incredible... if this was a full concert show I'd pay to watch an hr version of this
I get to brag bc I know the main guitar player his name is Johnny and he played bottom bass at ct 22 also I feel so bad for josh (quad who fell) but he had one of the best recoveries I’ve seen

I Said the same! It made me cry too! Very emotional performance.
Holding a headstand like that for 50 seconds is crazy on its own, but on top of a drum? That's insane

Also those metal towers coming down during the long roll is such a cool effect. Show design is amazing.
