Track 32/60 from Chrono Trigger the Musical! (Song releases will be out of order.)
Flung through time by Lavos and landing back in the prehistoric age, our heroes recover in Ayla's hut, and take a moment to reflect on the knowledge that they're no closer to stopping Lavos... but are still determined to try.

Frog: You have my sword.
Marle: And my bow
Lucca: *And my glock.*

Magus: "Ah, the Masamune... and... A GUN?! Oh shit. I didn't know you guys had GUNZ! I'm outta here."
Lucca's so badass that her theme is also the game's victory theme.
3:10 Lucca makes a very good point. Unlike other RPGs where there's always at least one character that you can't wait to remove from your party, Chrono Trigger has an incredible cast where every playable character is useful to some extent. Crono can inflict tons of damage as well as revive fallen allies, Marle can make her teammates faster, Lucca just plain kicks ass, Robo is a super-strong tank who doesn't take much damage and can heal his allies, Frog can use Frog Squash to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, Ayla is an incredible physical powerhouse (not to mention she's nice to look at), and Magus can target any enemy's elemental weakness with his access to every different type of magic. As Lucca put it, they're all strong and can do anything. That lyric was very well thought out.
Despite Chrono Trigger the musical not getting as much recognition as your other works, we all really enjoy the heart and soul you guys put into these works.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for the new update!
Normies only like and know undertale becuase it's was a thing during 2016 and 2017
Only veterans enjoy Chrono Trigger

"Green one lucky fall near Crono. Ayla thought was Reptite."
At first I thought Lucca said "Just a little speach...." But no, she made a frickin speaker just for that bit of encouragement. And now I can't stop imagining Lucca in the background when a song starts, even during the lavos recording thing. XD
Lucca continues to prove she is best girl.
We put them in a mosh pit to kill each other. The winner is best girl
Yall're stupid. Robo's best girl.
It's obvious; Magus best girl.
OBJECTION! Schala is best girl.
Leene is best girl.
*_YOU CAN'T CHANGE MY MIND_*
Oh man this combination of songs really does them justice.
Same! I Wasn't the Only one that Loved the Multiple Songs! This is one of the MANY Things that makes this a "Musical" in my Eyes!~ It's just so Good!~ A Cut above the Rest even. ^^
Chrono: I will write out my destiny, screaming that I will survive.
He says
Being one of the only two party members that can die.
And does
True. Apparently, Chrono wasn't supposed to be revived, originally, so that's even heavier irony.
Sorry, who's the other person who could die?
@@halleyscomet0867 When recruiting Magus you are given a choice of fighting or sparing him, you will just straight kill him instead of recruiting him if you fight him.
Halvos Ah, I see. I wasn't able to get that far, my game crashed on my computer, and LIKE A FOOL I forgot to save. I was at the part when Lavos was introduced. I saved before the battle against the mother brain thing and the rat.
HOLY COW! THIS was worth the wait!
Okay so where do I begin? Aauugghh I don't know where to begin! This was really good.
- All of the instrumentals of the songs are great. I especially love the one of Chrono Trigger with the guitar.
-The voice acting was perfect. Frog's shocked "Perish the thought" at the idea of Ayla wanting to eat him made me laugh, Ayla's concern at the mention of Lavos and Robo's hopelessness as he speaks of the odds was great. The singing from everyone is so filled with that weight and loss of hope. Then comes all of the determination in the second half.
-For me the one who stole the spotlight of this was Sym. The art was beautiful as always and her voice. I'm in love with her voice as she sings her solo with all the confidence in the world. The determined energy she speaks with before the solo begins and the sheepish sort of nature that she talks with afterwards is perfect. You've killed it Sym.
-I was not prepared for that full group harmony at the end. It was amazing and comes second for what stole the spotlight of this for me.
In short: I have clearly missed this and this was the perfect song to return to this musical with. Great job to everyone.
EDIT: Crap. Nearly forgot to talk about how great the lyrics were. Though I have no words because it was all amazing. I can't any part that was my favorite. You nailed it Alex.
IKRRR
gaud, ayla hoping to eat frog was my favorite part of the entire game
I can't believe Ayla is into vore
Did she actually say that? I thought if anything, she'd mistake him for a Reptite.
this is by far my FAVORITE track yet! the callbacks to all the previous songs and then the triumphant entrance of Lucca's theme was very evocative, and then the ROCK VERSION of crono's theme was AMAZING and the last chord everyone struck?? it sent chills down my spine this was such a cool collection of songs! and the art was incredible too, everybody is so happy and excited at the end and it added so much to the song! thank you guys so so much for spending so much time on this it was heavenly!!
@Lavos OH YEAH I remember that now!! Thanks for reminding me I'll definitely check them out :D
I love this so much. Though I'm amused Ayla didn't just eat frog when she found them passed out LOL.
At first I was expecting a set of reprise-y type things showing them at their lowest point (which are still beautiful, the doubt in peaceful days is just nnngh ow heart strings especially thinking back to how bright and full of hope it was) and them BAM Lucca jumping in with the pep talk and the speaker and haha I loved her little ramble about it when chrono thanked her for it. Honestly she sounds so much like she's speaking from experience of being shoved aside and forgotten and told she won't amount to anything because she doesn't fit in but that doesn't mean you can't still do what it is that you need to do and it's just very heartwarming. Also Ayla joining the party's chorus at the end, though I feel it's largely symbolic at this point because I can't remember if she's joined the part yet but it just made me sit up and go "...aw the gang is all here :'3"
Well, Lucca is an outcast because of how much she loves working with machines. I always got the sense almost everyone at the fair was dismissive of her and her inventions, and Crono’s her only friend. But she always moves past it and keeps going. She’s just sharing her inner strength
Lavos represents the dark future you think your suppose to have and the heroes represent the determination needed to change what we call..."fate."
Is this ANOTHER undertale reference
And Chrono Cross is what we call "ripping your beliefs and hopes to shreds"
Lucca is so great as a character.
So much blood
So much pain
They tell me that everything
Has a purpose in time
I think we’re long past our peaceful days.
Our lives irreversibly changed.
Hit or miss.
I guess they never miss.
I hope its Lucca who takes point for the retrieval arc. Although I get the feeling the recording for that has been determined and done for some time now.
3:53 And then Gimli suddenly pops out of an inter dimensional rift to shout, “AND MY AXE!”
Awesome.
I think this is the first time we had the entire main party here in one place, with everyone doing a good performance as always, especially Sym with that solo. Lyrics are great , the art was fantastic, and everything was pretty good.
Good job guys, and I hope you find Lavos.
"I will survive"
Oh no Chrono.
Narrator: “he did not, in fact, survive.”
One day has never felt this long before
Can't wait to watch this
Me neither!

Hey! A new shirt! Neat

Omg that was amazing the gang all singing, freaking Lucca being a motivational speaker... Or more like singer. Each part that is put out just gets better and better

thank you for understanding. I still can't believe the kind of pressure these guys had back in "Undertale: The Musical"...

@@newbiegamelover4767 you can say that again! I lost count of how many times I did something simple, like helping my friends at school and not even hearing a simple "thanks"

Been looking forward to y'alls rendition of lucca's theme and you did not disappoint, amazing job as always everyone I'm excited to see the next ones!
Just finished preparing for semi-final exams, and nothing can be a bigger reward then the continuation of my most favored project right now! :> Also, Lucca's Motivation-song gave my life back. Thank you for that. (Why was that so damn relatable thought?)
so nice to see, I mean, *hear* the old gang back together! best wishes to all of you!
This is the perfect end to Act I.
I like how you had the characters reflecting on what happened and what to do up to this point as well as having "Peaceful Days" and "Singing Mountain" again. It sounds like they went back to the End of Time to do it, and will return to the Prehistoric Era. Then I like the encouraging words and songs as well as "The Fellowship of the Ring" reference.
So I've been listening to this project a lot during my work this Summer and it made me buy the game again on my DS. This game is an absolute masterpiece and everything about this project just makes me smile from the music and art and the energy and excitement I see from those involved in the comments. I just wanted to say this channel is one of my favorites on UA-cam and I always look forward to what you guys put out.
Gosh. Sym. How come you can sing that fast and that high? It's amazing..! I love it

thanks tho
A welcome return to these.
This was one medley I was not expecting, but after Lavo's brief flex and whispers in the last one, this brought a smile. :)
It's been so long since I've watched these, hah. It's good to be back.

Its amazing, wonderful, i am Brazilian and i like your songs, mainly Chrono Trigger and Undertale Musicals
It's nice to hear Steel again!
You gotta love Lucca! Nice video !
Sigh... it's been nearly 8 months since this went on hiatus. I hope this musical doesn't end up being cancelled.

Lucca: "Inside, we are all strong, we can do anything!"
Jevil: "You rang?"
Lucca is incredible!
So much gooshbump in one video.
When are you coming back guys? you're dearly missed!
Wow just wow , awesome work dude ,🤩
Before the video even premieres, our cast is displayed as the good beans they are.
Hope one day, they continue this project. In sadness times, this song is the one to get you back up.
Worth the wait. Fucking worth all the 28 days of waiting for another Chrono Trigger musical.
Oooh what a nice medley. And I'm glad the victory theme finally made it in! I cannot imagine how many takes Sym must have taken to get those lines right though, jeez.
OMG with that last rock bit I am so imagining the heroes being re-presented in an anime style as Chrono sings, and then it shows them all preparing for future battle. This medley has a lot of clashing powerful emotions in it and it never feels jarring. TL;DR You guys are the best at music.
This was a beautiful compilation, starting out melancholy and then turning to determination. It fits well for the aftermath of the battle against Magus, as we enter the next part of the journey.
Wow this is only the midway point in the musical, I can't wait to see this all put together in the end, it's going to be epic!!!
Random person: *dislikes it before its even premiered* that will show him
Or someone who thinks MOTI should only do Undertale.
OBVIOUSLY someone who sings better, has a better cast and write lyrics and makes videos five times each hour with art included...
No, seriously. I don't understand it either 😯
Ooh! Reprises! Words fail to fully express just how happy I am right now... I...may love reprises in musicals...a lot. Possibly more than is healthy. But, then, I also may love musicals more than is healthy. No idea what song is going to be done next, but chances are good that I'm gonna love it!
I am wondering if Lavos is going to sing a reprise of its theme every time it appears. This is not what I want to see happen. This is just me speculating. I think it sounds so cool and creepy, so that would be awesome if that is part of the plan. But....that would make four reprises in total of one song. That...may be overkill. Really, though, I just can't wait for this musical to be completed. It is going to be SO awesome...I just know it!
Crono: I think we're long past our peaceful days.
The viewers: No shit, Sherlock
Amazing good job, esp love frogs voice!
History: no
Ourstory: stalin approves
"Behold, the magical kingdom of Zeal, now cast into the ocean's depths, doomed to be forgotten." In the back of his mind, Magus is wishing he had acted much sooner to save his sister.
When you’re that one optimist in the team.
- Lucca, probably
I've almost cried here. is...so...BADASS!
..It just occured to me it took until now, the 32nd Song, for Lucca's Theme ("Fanfare 1") to play.
I love the energetic Lucca’s theme!
I didn't get a chance to comment on this on the release day or until now but this video came to me at a perfect time because boy, was I fighting a feeling of being down/anxiety because of this one thing that happened to me on that day.
This song raised my spirits a lot then. I actually sang along with the second part.
*hugs Chara* "Hope your doing better now!" :)
@@seth2111 Definitely am, and thank you! ^_^
Very welcome! ^_^
Crono is Aladdin from Disney confirmed
This is fantastic! You all are so talented! :D
All dislikes are just different Lavoses from different timelines....
I had completely forgot this victory song was in Trigger, too. Since my main Chrono game was Cross, I am always surprised at all the songs that didn't originate there...
(It was a good game, but not a good sequel)
Well, remember that this isn't so much "victory music" in Chrono Trigger. In Chrono Trigger it's Lucca's Theme, which makes it all the more melancholic that its used as the victory theme in Chrono Cross as, in many ways, Chrono Cross is the extent of Lucca's legacy.
luccas voice is so mad scientist
I can't take it! It's so good!😍😍😍
I like your Content Man of the Internet ^^ it got me to cry a bit with pain in chest with your Vocalcasting People you all do a great job with it

God, this is so good! You are all so good!
So are we in Ayla's hut or are we at the end of time? Or does this have a spoken part like Fallen Down Reprise 2 or Lets Dating Nerd that you decided to skip?
Yah, im confused too
After such an ominous end to the first act, it's great to see that our heroes haven't lost hope.
Best song so far and definitely worth the wait
Destiny Friends of the chosen ones
4:57 I like how ayla has a line here despite being nowhere beyond the intro
She just walked back in, saw everyone singing, and went "Hey, me want sing too!"
I'mma just watch Ayla bounce at the start for a bit, thanks
this darn thing gives me life aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Whoa whoa whoa! The orchestral audio was made by a Rebecca Tripp, that is amazing and to be honest a tad freaky. You see my Mother her name was Rebecca Tripp Nimmo (Nimmo is my father's last name Tripp is my mother's and mom and I kept our last names from my grandparents and added my dads to ours so I have two Surnames to carry on both legacies.) and she passed away ten years ago. Since then I've seen a lot of odd connections to her still being made to this day, her favorite color was purple and someone named a shade of purple Rebecca Purple, a series I have been part of the fandom of since before my oldest memory added a character named Rebecca, and now I find that part of the score for this musical series of my #2 all time favorite RPG (Mario beats it by a few years XP) with the same last name. Dude it's like I am watching a Connections 3 of my life.
WHOA
Gorgeousness and gorgeousity abound
Not enough Ayla! No! Also...love you all for your work. Yes. Please still love this game. Yes. For it is...THE BEST FUCKING GAME EVER MADE!!!!
This is really good! However, I think a voice with a lisp (kind of like Lisa from The Loud House) would be much more fitting for Lucca.
hope to see more of this
Hey look, I found the video where Lucca gets to sing to her theme song!
meanwhile Spekkio is jus chilling and enjoying the music show
I cant wait this!
Chrono Trigger The musical is always so triumphant and exhilarating. I feel like although a Chrono Cross the Musical would end on a good note, a good bit of it would be quite melancholic.
Holy shit luccas got a gu- *shots fired through wall*
You know, you guys should do a Dragon Quest musical. Not one in particular, just for each series if possible.
Awesome job guys!
The best rpg of the history
We need more of this. When's the next one coming? If anyone knows please let me know or point me to where I can find out.
This one's nice, but surprisingly inaccurate in it being Lucca who restores the party's confidence, rather than Marle. From the moment of discovering Lavos's existence, Marle is the unyielding rock of faith and determination in the party, always ready to act and sure that something can be accomplished. Defeating Lavos and saving the future was _her_ idea, even. That's not to say that Lucca is at all a doom-and-gloom character, but she still is demonstrably more capable of doubt (even if you can just view it as rational objectivity) than Marle is. This interlude is out of character for the party's dynamics; it's Marle who is the heart of the team's heroism.
I can't wait for episode 40
I'm going to try and be persistent with this, since I'm not sure how many other people would ask for this as well.
I hope to see you make a musical of klonoa in the future.
Just letting you know before you end up wasting too much valuable time: MOTI have said on multiple occasions they don't take requests for musicals.
@@simontheslakoth719 somehow I doubt that's true, considering they probably didn't have plans for deltarune but still made several songs out of the first part of it.
Yeah, but only because *they* wanted to. Not because people were [incessantly] asking them to produce a full-fledged DELTARUNE musical after the demo dropped. Though if you won't believe ME, please take a look at someone's request for a musical on a different video, a request which was given the same answer I gave you...straight from MOTI themselves (request for Earthbound musical made by a commenter named "The Indigo Experiment"; shouldn't be too hard to find): ua-cam.com/video/pwwWJT7WHFw/v-deo.html&lc=UgwsQCgWOSLXnll-xq14AaABAg.8dNMpDvJKlt8dNNCQv8dAH
How about straight from the horse's mouth? We don't take requests for musicals. The Deltarune songs are not part of a musical. Full musicals take a long time to make - Undertale the Musical and Chrono Trigger both have taken over a year. Requests for singular songs are fine since those don't take a massive, year+ long time commitment, the only thing is that thanks to the proliferation of the word "musical" a lot of comments think that a musical is just one song. Thank you for your interest!
@@ManontheInternet I'm aware of the that. If I wanted to request a single song to put into a Broadway style of singing I would have. But I don't, not for this game anyway.
Door to phantomisle is a game I managed to fall in love with, both in story and music. I'm asking to at least consider it for future use, perhaps when Chrono trigger is over, since I do feel it deserves some time in the spotlight (especially with your style and detail in lyrics and singing talent).
Sorry to have wasted your time with this, but I just wanted to bring this to your attention, which it seems I have. I can't wait to see what you make this year and wish you luck with Chrono trigger (the story selection will be a hefty load for the year).
Lucca's voice actor!!! KUDOS..
