I've fallen out of love with PoGO but the moment I realized whom had uploaded a new travel vlog I had to watch. I legit still wear my Trainer Tips merch despite not playing anymore. Love you, Nick! Let's hope we meet at an Above and Beyond show!
Can we expect more content on this channel going forward? I totally get the PoGo channel kinda sorta maybe dying off, but you have plenty of fans that would still love to see your travel content! Best wishes on the journey, friend 🙏🏼
It is amazing how the travel has changed. I watched you walked around LA and saw your town. Then your step outs to other CA Cities and other cities across the US. You even came to Chicago. Then the foreign trips to places I will never go. Then the BIG STOP we all did. You in your apartment me in rural northern WI at 95 year old family resort. Then your steps into creating your travel trailer. Going back out! Camping nature simple! What a change! Do you see foreign travel in the future? Not for me too many risks. US trips yes, with limits and precautions. But they will be limited. A tip for you! Get yourself a WELL seasoned Lodge cast iron frying pan. Most things you cook are wipe and done! Been using mine almost everyday for 30 years. Before that I did not know better! Eggs can be tricky and sticky but if pan is seasoned heated then greased before eggs go in eggs will slip out and clean up is a wipe out!
I started playing Pogo when it first came out, and after a few months i quit. I picked up again around 2019 and somehow managed to stumble across one of trnrtips videos and have honestly been watching ever since. Especially during covid his videos really helped to pass the time and they made you feel like you weren't going through it alone. Whether its Pogo or travel videos, im here for it 🤙🏼
n i c k a e s t h e t i c so gooooooooddddddd. Also lol when you were rotating the table lmao. Also your “Aughh!” when you drop something is so funny lmao. Reminds me of the Minecraft Steve “Oof”. Amazinggggggggggg video
Your Travel videos, cinemaphotography, and the pokemon go content is what draw me to your channel - Glad to see that you are getting back to what you love.. - Cant wait for your east coast trip... hope its to Ma or NH... it great up here.
these kind of videos are what made me love the Trainer Tips channel in the first place! Very Kraig Adams style vibes, with some Joe Hisashi like piano music sprinkled in... Im so here for more of this content going forward. Came for the PoGo content, stayed for Nick and his adventures. Appreciate you sharing
Beautiful video Nick. Thank you for sharing this with us. (read more for water tank help) IMO the Frying pan you keep in the trailer could be a proper non stick or a cast iron. Get something easier to clean. The camp style cookware is better for a hike. Give yourself a few more luxuries when it comes to the trailers fixins. Also why not cook and drink water that you get fresh for the trip? (two 4L or something) and then just wash dishes with what comes in that under sink tank. Alternately you could try running vinegar and hot water through the tank a few times, let it sit for a couple hours and then wash it out. (works with sports water bottles) Option two is baking soda. Again warm or hot water, probably half a cup of baking soda with that size tank, shake, let sit for a few hours, rinse. (important to note, don't do the vinegar and then the baking soda..... for obvious science fare volcano reasons.) A third idea is leaving it open, empty, out in the sun for a couple hours to hopefully evaporate whats causing the seeped in taste (production residue?) Or when all else fails, contact the manufacturer and ask if they have any recommendations.
It's always been the key highlight of all your videos from before how beautifully you capture the ambience and experience of the place you were walking in, even if it was just to catch pokemon. I hope you've been well, man. Hope the world has been kind to you and your family.
Your trailer and camping vids make me want to go camping. We did it every summer as a kid in VT. We had an old Starcraft popup. Food just tastes better when camping too.
Awesome looks like you broke out the DJI liked the car shots leaving the camp site. Thought maybe it was Dom at first but too smooth. And that egg off the table! You are one with nature love it 😍
I've realised that as humans, we spend so much time eating, and I feel like this video highlights that to some extent. Imagine if we didn't need to eat, we have some much more time for activities.
I've had the plastic taste issue with water before and most of it came from the lines and not the container itself. So we boiled the lines we use for like 10 minutes or so and that got rid of the taste. Good luck and looking forward to more videos in the future.
Thank you for inspiring me to go on my own nature travels. I recently went on a mini vacation in the starved rock area in IL. If you ever want to hike somewhere love you hike with you. I just love exploring the nature and be in the quite and occasionally have deep conversations. Anyways thank you again Nick!
Thanks for sharing more travel content; definitely my preferred viewing when stuck at work. Re: the plastic taste; that will lessen with time and use. However, since you were camping right by the river, you should consider getting a water filter so you're not limited to what you can carry in the tanks. For backpacking, I use a light weight one called a Katadyn BeFree, but since you don't have size limitations in the trailer, a pump-style would work well to keep on hand. Something like the Katadyn Vario or MSR Miniworks will only run you around $100.
I have been the biggest fan of your content for the longest time, Nick, and I for one, 100% agree with what many others are saying: more travel/camping content, please and thank you! It is so soothing and relaxing! EDIT: Also, I would watch you cook yummy food with relaxing piano music in the background all day, just saying...
I really enjoyed this video. I have been watching a lot of no-talking style vids lately (like Nami's life) and find them very calming. I hope to go to Big Sur myself some day soon.
I feel like you would love Lynn Canyon in North Vancouver...or any forest in BC for that matter. If you ever make your way to Canada definitely check it out
Great stuff! looks relaxing. Hoping to bring the family up there for some camping next year 🤞 Got a van for it but we couldn’t get any reservations this year 😭
Gorgeous! Were the arial views from drone footage? The video is well done, and it was great to see those breathtaking places, and read your explanations, too. Thanks for giving us a peek into your enjoyment of the parks.
Was that the infamous box of quarantine Banza pasta finally being used? If so we shall miss its presence on your countertop, keeping watch these past 2 years....
WOW. The work you put into getting these shots…perfection. I don’t know how you got those drone views driving (maybe it’s easy, but I don’t have a drone), but stunning! Camping with you must be the ultimate in relaxation. Dom’s lucky to have a cuz with a trailer. PLEASE keep these videos coming. Selfishly, they give me my “meditation moment” of the day.
finally coming here from your Pokemon GO videos. Your trailer interiors look really great man! Can you add links to the french press and the stove you bought in the description? Thanks!
As I've grown older, I've realized that your travel vids mean more to me than your PoGo vids.

You capture light so beautifully in this video. It feels like a movie. Please bring us along again on your next adventure.
