Sometimes they let you carry the board on. You can use plastic wrap to attach the board to your checked bag. Some boards like the Dinghy will fit in your bag! All airlines are different so its a good idea to give yourself extra time when checking into your flight
Come to Shenzhen next time. Shenzhen is a young bustling metropolis which represents a different aspect of china. Also there are many fabulous spots and roads for longboarding ;)
