- Hi! Happy August to you. Very exciting that this is my first video filmed with my sister and friend, Lilith. I know some will be curious- she is transferring from her original art school (Art Center college of design) because she didn't find their curriculum and teaching style fit for HER PERSONALLY. We can elaborate in a future video, but just know, no, it's not anything about the school, incase anyone would get worried or something about applying.
Very grateful to be able to have her do this with me- please respect her privacy; she does not have public social media accounts.

For those of you starting school this month, I know this video doesn't help too much unless you're attending an art uni. But I hope it was enjoyable, informational and inspirational nonetheless. As a student who wanted to major in Arts but never did (expectations, pressure, etc people who've been there probably know) Anabelle's videos are my little sanctuaries where I lose myself and give myself a bit of wonder that entails the "what if." I do love my field of study -- had always been an avid fan of learning -- but there will be always a lingering question, a pathway that I never took. It's so refreshing to see slices of your life, Annabelle, and I can never thank you enough for giving us an opportunity to know you in this digitalized world. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer and can't wait for your hair vlog!

actually the kanken bags where created to stop back pain so they arent that heavy and thats why they have that really prominent square shape. i'm an art student also and i have this bag too but i think most of us by now are just used to always carrying a lot of things.

I think art students are already used to carry a lot of stuff with them everyday, art always comes with sacrifice xD
Plus the fact that the bag they have(kanken) is basically made for carrying a lot of stuff without it affecting your back
jutaesu hopefully it's not too too bad. Those bags were designed to not cause back pain I believe. I carry a lot of art supplies (not as much as them though haha) + studying materials and it gets heavy but my back feels fine.
I am a science major and so I carry a crap ton of stuff. I love love love this bag. I have the Kanken big as opposed to the normal Kanken because of how much I carry. I had a lot of back pain all through high school even using a very nice North Face backpack. The Kanken bags I love, I bought mine through e-bags.com. Their shipping is super cheap, and sometimes they have sales so I got mine for like $10 more than the regular. I ordered the regular, and didn't like the size and returned it for the big.
I love how real this video is. We have sisters, we burn each other, fight with one another. It was hilarious how they would low key burn each other and then the next clip they're just loving each other. ♥️✨

You should do an art style (?) or artworks comparison with your sister. Not like to see who's better but just to see how different your art style is from your sister. I think it's interesting to see how different( or maybe similar) your art styles are from each other especially since your sister is into illustration and you're into textile :D

I know Fjallravens hold a lot, and they're meant to ease strain on the back, but I carry half that and my back still starts to hurt! The straps don't help either. I'm surprised at how much you guys manage to carry! I have since switched to an Anello bag.

here are some ideas to do together :D
1. draw something with your non-dominant hand, give it to the other person to interpret and draw with their dominant. Vice versa~
2. or make a piece where you both take turns to draw.
