- Hi! As much as I want to write a super long, in depth description right now ((I cant)))) because I am SO busy. But I did want to say that I really appreciate you and the time you took to spend it with us today!
Ever since my second year at RISD has kicked off, it has truly gotten me doing work back to back to back, and when it's not that, I'm in class or a lecture. I really want to find more time for content making (because I miss it and you) so as time passes, I hope that will actually happen.
I love you, and I'm sorry that I've been out of touch. I will work harder at working harder! I can do this! And for anyone in school, work, anything- you can too.

Okay, so my grandparents are in china right now and about a year ago my grandpa had a heart attack. Now he can't recognize us the majority of the time. And i really cherish the 3 weeks we spend together during the summer every year. We try to call them everynight on wechat. My grandpa was the one who raised me for most of my childhood and taught me poems in chinese and how to hold chopsticks.
When we first came to china after the heart attack, i almost cried into my first meal. We would play 争上游 and even if he mispronounced the combos, he would still win 8 times in a row.
And before the heart attack, he unflod this giant map and show me all the places my dad grew up, his college, schools, lake, his own home town. It was the sweetest fucking thing
I got so emotional at your granpa being in the hospital. I just really feel like they're very precious. 😢😭
That part when you were giving your grandpa a kiss made me cry. It reminded me of visiting my grandma at the hospital. Thanks for sharing your story, Annabelle!

i started to cry like a baby the moment i saw your grandfather. from the videos of him you've shared with us, i can see he is a sweet man! my grandpa is one of the MOST important people in my life, i can't imagine him being gone, but he's getting close to his 80s, and i know there will be a morning when he won't be around. this is so sad haha but thank you for making these beautiful videos and sharing your life with us, i guess i just needed to vent a bit, and seeing your grandfather helped me out! i'll be praying for him and your family 💕

on a serious note, i can relate with you with your grandfather. my grandfather has been living with us ever since my grandma passed away 3 years ago and he has changed my world, but everyday he becomes more fragile and i get the feels more often. i will keep your grandfather in my prayers annabelle and thank you for showing us a glimpse of your family life. ily!

my grandmother passed away 21 years ago and my family moved in with my grandfather at that time. we lived with him for 19 years until he passed away 2 years ago after getting into a car accident and being comatose for 11 days. although it was difficult at times, it was such a blessing to have lived with him for so long and had that time with him. hope your grandfather remains healthy and that you also appreciate the time you have with him!
Its so crazy to watch you move in again. Like your first move in video was the video that got me to subscribe and then keep up since then, like you as a person grew and change and so have i . Its insane how much a year goes and how many things change but im glad watching your videos remains as a constant in my life♡ keep it up !!

the grandpa clip got to me. my grandfather was in the hospital too but he passed away peacefully may 15, 2018 and i’m glad i got to see him before he did. he couldn’t speak to us, he was in a coma, but i told him i loved him and he nodded to me. i’m crying right now but i’m so happy you got to see your grandfather too!!

Hey, I normally don't comment, but seeing you with your grandfather really hit home. My grandma passed a week ago, and my heart hurts, but she lived a happy life and I know she loved me, and I loved her. Just keep as many positive thoughts in your head as possible and know that it's okay to feel sad.
I just love how you put these videos together so much. And not to like equate your grandfather with an animal but I had to say the worst king of goodbye to my first pet before I went up to school because I probably won’t see her again before I get back home, my thoughts are with you and your family

God i couldn't stop crying when you were with your grandpa. I recently lost my papa, he seemed to be perfectly healthy then within weeks he rapidly deteriorated and we were told by doctors that there was nothing they could do. Saying goodbye is so hard. Knowing he won't be there for me completing uni, and so many other huge life goals is incredibly upsetting but in life we need to just focus on the time we were blessed with our loved ones. I was lucky i got to know him and grow up with him in my life for as long as i did. He also recognised me when i went to visit him during his last few days and it was the most heart warming yet heart wrenching moment of my life ❤️ we, your viewers, love you annabelle and are always here to support you!! I started sobbing at the part when you visit your grandpa in the hospital. Earlier this year my family and I traveled all the way to Poland to visit my grandmother who had been in the hospital for many months. She is out of the hospital now, but still sick. Family is so important, and it's important to be there for others all the way till the end. I hope both our grandparents can be happy all the way to the end of their lives, and hopefully have taught us life lessons for the future. Thank you for the videos you do.
