@@oneminuteguitarlessons6060 Thanks for the question! Our singer uses an app, but it is not synchronized with our tracks. I brought it up to her but she did not seem interested in lyrics being on cruise control. For me, I memorize all my parts. Our drummer only sings one simple song and he uses a paper with lyrics. My thought is that if an artist is a solo, duo or trio or is tasked with singing greater than 33 songs, I think a lyrics app is a good idea.
@ thanks. We have a number of lead singers that rotate through with us that I think it might be handy to coordinate the lyrics for them. Thanks to your videos and help, I use MT to run my tracks, send midi to our Helix, etc and send it to Photon-2 to run our lights. I’m going for the gusto with the lyrics app. I am going to try using Stagetraxx for that.
@@oneminuteguitarlessons6060 Good choice! Multitracker developer Sebastian said to me back in March that he was going to have add a lyric section to Multitracker by the fall. I opted not to announce it, because, if he failed to release it by fall, then I would have frustrated others. I tried StageTraxx and bought it for a possible replacement to MT due to the lyric issue, but the StageTraxx interface, track management and absence of MIDI lanes made it insufficient for my needs. I DID however, find a way to slave StageTraxx to MT, but our singer was not interested in the idea, so after I made that video (with excitement) I abandoned the idea. StageTraxx is fantastic for lyrics and a lot of other stuff!
@ the lack of a midi lane makes stagetraxx not viable as a stand alone app so I am planning on triggering it from MT as my Thanksgiving holiday project.
Question unrelated to this video. Do you use a lyrics app? If so, which one? And, is it controlled by midi from Multitracker? Thanks
