Excellent camper, I really love this one. Three questions for you: 1) What vehicle would you recommend to haul this unit with? 2) What temperature range would this unit be usable in? 3) When sitting on the back of a truck, what would the exterior height be with the air conditioner? Or would that be included in the exterior height of 10 feet listed above?
Hey Lawrence!! I would recommend a Ford F-450 with air bags. Air bags may not be super necessary with a truck like this, but pending on how to intend to use it or where you plan on taking it, I believe that they will come in handy. If anything else, they give some great support. On the temp question, I have had customers tell me that they have had their Foxes freeze at 10 degrees above and also have had customers tell me they have been 20 to 30 below zero and have not frozen. Really, it comes down to the exact weather of where you are at and which direction the camper is facing, wind and humidity. With the 1150 sitting on a truck, pending the exact truck, it will be about 12' 5'' to the top of the A/C. Hopefully, that helps and keep us posted if we could help further. Thanks for watching!!! Good Morning! This one is for a 3500 or 4500 dually. We do Palomino Backpack truck campers as well. They make a model called the 750 and it is for half ton trucks. If we can help further on this, please let us know! Thanks for watching!!! Camping Cass
Good morning!! The dry weight on this camper is 3,358 LB. The ideal set up for a camper like this would be a 3500 dually at the minimum with air bags, Tork Lift stable loads or Timbrens pending your preference of suspension assistance. We have some customer's using the F-450 or Ram 4500. For your 2500, I would recommend the following, the Wolf Creek 850, Wolf Creek 890 or the Arctic Fox 865. Let us know if we can help out. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
With all the battery options of today, it's hard to put standard deep cycles on that work well with the sliding rack. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Morning! Lighter weight is always good, the only drawback is that the price goes up with lighter weight materials. Northwood does a great job walking the line between good materials while watching the price. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
I have two questions how big is the bed? It looks like only a fool, so nothing will the Queen. I didn’t see anything out there with a queen so and then how much is it? That’s the that’s another big thing and I know it takes a Dooley or a truck so because it is 3358 dries out with him it be probably be like around 47 with wet so I didn’t waste just the cost of that one. and can you get it in it with a queen size bed or do they even make them with a queen size bed?
Good Morning!! The bed size is 58'' wide by 80'' long. This is the only option they offer since they are limited on space. So very close to a true queen of 60'' wide by 80'' long. And yes, 3500 to 4500 dually is a great choice with some suspension upgrades of your choice. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Hello!! Is that a long bed 3500? You would definitely want air bags and Tork Lift Stable Loads. An F-450 is a great choice of truck as well. Camping Cass
That is a truly an amazing camper. That's 5-star camping right there boys.
Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass

Nice camper. Can you option in a King Bed?
Good Morning! I apologize, they do not offer king beds in the AF truck campers. Thanks for watching!!! Camping Cass
@@smithrvsalesserviceinc.5398 Great video thanks. I understand, maybe they will add the King Bed down the road.
@@MikeY-n2y Hopefully so, we will see what happens, thanks!!! Camping Cass
It is a 4 season ?…
Beautiful model
Good Morning! Yes! This is a 4 season, all weather camper. Let us know if we can help further, thanks for watching!! Camping Cass

@@outdoorrvspecialist …I’ll check them out! Thank you!
@@outdoorrvspecialist i assume the F450 be better than a 3500 dually ? (im not a truck guy)
@@captaindiabetes4244 Interesting enough, both trucks have similar capacities, however, we still push for the F-450. Camping Cass
@@smithrvsalesserviceinc.5398 gas or diesel f450?
One of my only complaints is the inadequate battery rack. As soon as one installs decent batteries the slide out rack needs to go.
With all the battery options of today, it's hard to put standard deep cycles on that work well with the sliding rack. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
They should make this camper with light weight materials. Get rid of all the wood and steel to make it lighter.

I like that he said “shore power.”
In an instant I was 22 again aboard a submarine out of Charleston SC…..

What size is the bed??
Hello! That is a 58'' X 80''. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass

Notice he had his shoes on in the shower point. He would have had more head room bare foot...just saying.
Can't imagine people who want a dry bath. Waste of space.
We have an 1150 in stock with a wet bath as well! Tons of counter space!! Thanks for watching!!! Camping Cass

The new AF cabinet color and style is horrible. Bring back a regular wood color like Oak or maple and we would become a customer for sure!
It's hard to satisfy everyone for sure. You can always try to target an older model though. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Why the hell are the shower controls at calf level? LOL!
