    United Road is struggling bigtime with this new system and loss of freight. You made a good move

      Thank you for that. And I feel bad about what’s happening over there idk how much is true but I hear new stories pretty much every week about what they’re changing.

      @@CarcarrierTv nothing good going on here. Luckily I’ve been on Carmax dedicated and making OK money. But it’s a big difference from what I made on GM dedicated.

      @Larrythecableguy749 is the carmax dedicated sending you all over the place or do you still tend to get home pretty often with that.

      I don’t think Waddle does but it doesn’t hurt to drop them a phone call and ask.

    I was just in port of brunswick last week. We were clearing out the port of baltimore of all the GM products. Moving all the vettes, 2500s and tahoes out there lol

    • @CarcarrierTv

      I’ve noticed a ton of those down here in Brunswick. Are they being shipped into Brunswick and you guys hauling them back up north?

    • @aaronaudette9203
      @aaronaudette9203 6 місяців тому +1

      @@CarcarrierTv no, since the bridge got hit in Baltimore, they can't send the units out of the port of Baltimore, so we basically just had to clean out that port, and now all those units are being exported from Brunswick instead of Baltimore. European, African, etc. Soke of the vettes I moved down there were RHD cars

      @CarcarrierTv also, we don't really do much backhaul at all. My company is on a GM contract, so we basically work outta 1 location, and deadhead back over and over.
      For a few weeks we were moving new EV blazers out of Midlothian tx, and taking them to Cali, then deadheading back to texas lol

      @aaronaudette9203 oh so your hauling exports not imports. I kinda figured those were imports for us not leaving out.

      @CarcarrierTv just for a couple weeks yeah. Now we're moving out of Pontiac, and flint, moving all the brand new body style Traverses

    Hey man I put in a application for United Road and looks like I’m a candidate but my recruiter said that it’ll be a few weeks before I get hired and start training. Do you have any idea how long of a waiting it could be?

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  6 місяців тому

      That really depends when their trainers release their last batch of trainees. That all comes down to how fast people pickup on how to haul cars.

    Do you miss United Road at all and the benefits and the 80 footer ? And hotels

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  6 місяців тому +4

      No not at all. To be honest. As for the 80 ft it would be nice to have but I have enjoyed learning a new trailer that I’ve never used before. As for the benefits the only big difference is they’re more expressive here. But the ease of the work and how your treated here is a world of difference. So at the end of the day I’ll say if it wasn’t for the new AI dispatch and forced dispatch system I would have never have left but how they operate here I’ll never look back if that makes sense
