Equipment:
Your Trinket
Early game get anything that converts or duplicates.
Mid game get regal -> divine
Late game get chaos -> divine
Chance to duplicate rogue markers FROM CACHES
Rouge:
Weapon: Arrowhead, level 5 = precise
Weapon for aura, the most useful is haste, max level is lvl15
+ job speed or fee reduction
Brooch, level 5 = foliate
Chance to duplicate basic currency
**For contracts only "Increased rouge marker value for basic contracts"
+ job speed
Cloak, level 5 = whisper woven
Reduced raising of alert level from opening chests (More consistent, up to 12%)
or
Chance to not gain alert on opening a chest (More random, up to 10%)
+ job speed
Job dependent slot
+1 level to all jobs requires item level 82
Important on Gianna for farming reveals on regular contracts
Important on Vinderi for lvl3 engineering jobs on blueprints
Important on Karst, Nenet and Tullina for reduced raising of alert level on blueprints
Item Quantity from map works only on small chests. Big chests are not affected at all
Not important on contracts, good to have on blueprints
Which contracts to run
- Everything Gianna can run,
- Engineering with duplicate,
- Priceless + precious with 200% increased value enchantment,
- If you have %chance to convert chaos into divine trinket run lockpick with duplicate
Contract rewards
- S tier -> Map
- A tier -> Cards and currency(Goes up to S with chaos -> divine trinket).
Blueprint big reward value
Gems -> Replicas -> Trinket -> Enchants
Split blueprints depending on the price of the split. Rule of thumb - at least 12 S and A tier rewards
Use fractured fossils.
You are legend.
Not all heroes wear capes.

For around 25:00 I use "((Per.+[1-3])|(Tha.+[1-4])|(Dec.+[1-5]))\)" to find contracts for Gianna within her Level with a +1 all jobs.
this one works for me: "dece|ounte.*[1-4]|erc.*[1-3]"
for some reason this isnt working for me

Great Heist guide! I usually don't go so hard on the mechanic but find myself fall onto it every time when I need some extra currency and don't feel like changing my tree that much and coming up with some juicing strategy (the new heist nodes are so powerful for people like me, you can fill up on blueprints and regular stuff very easily, which also made me play it more, it's really chill to switch to heist isntead of mapping once in a while too)
To the first argument for Raider - you can get perma phasing with a watcher's eye mod - "You have Phasing while affected by Haste" if you for some reason really hate raider idk? Just a heads up if someone tried to do like a different ascendancy version (I doubt you can beat phasing AND perma onslaught but sure, maybe a pathfinder for better onslaught with flask effect and better flask uptime before you get a mageblood as you start?)
What a fantastic guide, I played almost every league from 3.00 and I played also Heist, but never bothered with this mechanic too much. Now for 1st time i tried it: proper equip on NPCs, leveled, proper sestants for contracts... now i know what to do, what to look after. It is really making money :) Just the stupid stacked decks... :D Thanks
playing 6k hours of poe and i do every league a little bit heist but most things i didnt know like enchants on contracts or priceless and precious contracts .... thank you for this vid

Great guide, super in depth and well explained as usual. I have been a Heist enjoyer since release but I never realized how many things I was doing in a suboptimal way (and yet still making currency). I never watched a guide though to be fair. I am addicted to Stacked Deck gambling which was my main reason for running Heist continuously. I really underestimated the powerlevel of the Rogue's gear since I did not realize it stacked. I love Raider as a starter so I might just follow your strat / advice next league start.
there are plenty of builds for this class in general, so many people play deadeye or pf too. By starting a raider in heist you also build yourself a very high level character that is capable of swapping to many meta builds without having to slog through acts again.
I have been practicing leveling TR Raider in the past events and trying different setups, definitely giving this a full try in in 3.23 @@alewis514

Another tip for anyone, if you still have big reward chest to open and out of alert level;
open the trap doors, run to the end, price check items, run back to open chests and get ~25sec to run and get the end reward.

This is excellent, thanks! Would you be inclined to add some content regarding running heists in SSF? Most of your content is based on profiteering in the current league economy, which is irrelevant in SSF, where you need to actually use the currency to improve your character while making wise spending decisions.

Regarding optimal order of revealing @ 47:25 : Doing the actual math and simulating with a bit of code, it turns out you save 1-1.5k markers on average per 4-wing ilvl 83 BP while revealing 4 rooms per wing. The explanation is simple: Yes, the final multiplier to reveal cost is the same in the end, but earlier big increases affect more reveals than later big inreases, so revealing wings as late as possible is provably beneficial. (Be that as it may, 1-1.5k markers per BP is peanuts, so you shouldn't care too much, it's just a small optimization)
TL;DR: he's kinda correct and the optimal order is to first reveal the visible rooms, and then the wings.
Reveal cost increases are multiplicative & slightly off from mentioned values. Revealed room ->cost * 1.045; revealed wing -> cost * 1.25
As estimated base values for calculation I used 800 for rooms & 3600 (without gianna) for wings. Cost for rooms wildly differs but should be around there.
I've tested with these values for 3&4 wings and for 3-7 wings per room. It was always the case, that the rooms-first method was cheaper. And the reduction is also greater for larger blueprints.
For me the explanation, that made me really understand it was: "The reveal cost between a room & a wing is too small for the larger cost increase." This is especially true if using Gianna only on the Wings(~2 times the cost ~5 times the cost increase). As a further point why it's more cost efficient: By using Gianna on the wings later, the amount which her perk reduces is also larger.
I prefer running with chance to additional reveal from wakano with gianna and use giana reveals only for wings
Reroll your deli orbs into skittering, diviners or fine deli orbs wil harvest crafting. You make way more even if you have to buy the blue harvest currency

As maps are a big one for making money. How do you do your selling? Do you sell in bulk? Only sell wheb you are doing maps?
One question I still have after a couple of tests: How do you sustain the Chance Orbs very early? Or do you only buy Lockpick and Demolition at start (priority)? I often run out of Chance Orbs. Vendor is one way, maybe more strongboxes while leveling early and / or trade?

So I assume it is not really profitable but you did not mentioned the meme mod on cloaks to not proc grand heist chests. With 3 rogues you get to 15% max rolled which actually happens here and then. Ofc most of the time it is kind of useless hence why less alert on no alert on regular chests is probably better but when it procs in a gem blueprint and you have 2 good gems or a lens and a good gems, man it feels so good.
Otherwise, and I think you mentioned it during your video but when considering that opening a room in a blueprint runs about 2k which would average at 4c equivalent, I feel like currencies room without having good trinkets are unlikely to give you profit back on average. Only divines drop really make up for it but it is a lot of variance. At least that is my feeling though I am not a good farmer so others would know better.

I am getting close to no loot from currency chests. On average 3c worth of loot. Done like 40 currency chests. Am I just unlucky, or is this normal?

When would you suggest using the Charged Compasses you went over? Once I have my team levelled up, or now? Looks like the total sum of the compasses comes out to around 15C, which doesn't seem too terrible

Now at 145 Divines + 1k chaos with an obscene amount of gumball currency / fragments, you name it, I've probably got tons of it. This is from CASUAL play as well.

Also I must add, this strategy works just as well, even if you AREN'T doing it holistically as Asmo displays. You can simply just level your rogues, get them some gear and then BUY everything you want / need, and go run heists that way, versus self sustaining them

You could do that, or you can start running them when they're available and keep buying them each level you gain, vendor resets, personally I would open my atlas first then go to heist but jm not positive which is better. Might make more currency just doing Geist the first few days of league

Hi Asmo, this is not a question about the current video, but a question about Vaal fireball elementalist, which I followed a guide of yours from the first league I ever played. Do you think this build would be okay in the current league? I was thinking about recreating it, as I see no one playing it at all.

Ok I am lost myself on 21:47 He saying u can run these maps white ,the quantity won't affect anything rather than contracts and blueprints,so tthat is why we run them... (he means that is why he made it rare) MY question is - why would he say we can run them white then ? Can anyone suggest a very basic Heist guide? I'm completely new and game is very confusing, but I wanted to try Heist but guides I found so far are not beginner friendly. I'm really looking at what should I do after clearing Act 10, I don't understand how to progress efficiently
That is my problem with nearly 100% of all PoE guides is the expected level of understanding that nobody teaches yet required to start using any of these guides.
