Interesting content. I've never seen anything like that and learnt something new.. Looks similar to my culture when we want to use dried green tea leaves and take away its bitterness. Thanks for sharing 👍
you are very welcome. Never knew that green tea leaves have a bitter taste. Thank you for watching.
This is such a helpful tips. Thanks for sharing. Happy new month.
Happy New month sis. Thanks for watching
This is really helpful. Thanks for sharing. A blessed month to you sis
Thanks sister. Happy New month💖
This is so good , I learn a lot from ur channel thank you
Thank you
It worked. Thanks
You are welcome
Nice one. Well done.
Everything is good except the boiling of the plastic bag. The bitter-leaf will soften if squeezed without boiling it first or adding anything. Just squeeze it as if you are reducing the bitter taste for the first time. Doing it that way would not only soften it but retain a bit bitter taste. I was almost getting disillusioned about dry bitterleaf until I discovered the process of squeezing it first before adding to ede or egusi. Nice video by the way.
Okay. If that works for you, great. It doesn't work for me.
can you explain this further? so you would boil the leaf into the water with no plastic bag?
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for this secret I'm about to cook dried bitterleaf
You are welcome
Wow. You have blessed me tonight sister. I will try it out tomorrow. Hope to have you back in my home. Let's be friends
You are welcome
Omg thanks for sharing oo, I normally boil my bitterleaf with potash, sometimes the potash will remove the whole bitterness which I don't like. I'm going to give your method a try. There is no ads on this video why???
You are welcome sis. I don't why you didn't see ads, guess YT show ads when they want. Thank you for watching
16 like, good sharing, stay in touch hope you do b happy
What is the name of plant which produce bitter leaves?
Please do you normally wash the bitterness before drying it... like I na afo ya tupu igba ya n'awu
Yes dear.
Yes oo .. I do use ngu or edible potash .. and boom fresh like brand new
I trust you nah
Adorable Kitchen I need to be doing it plenty like you did and now store in the freezer .. it will save time
Yes. A lot of time o
What if you boil it directly in the water and baking Soda without the plastic bag?
I have not tried it but I think it will be extremely soft and won't be good anymore.
Yes it works when you boil it directly in the pot without the plastic bag, the only thing is that you must keep an eye on it because it foams alot and pour into your stove
Okay. Thanks for the info
Sis can i do this for dried ugwu nd spinach too
No
Soak them in water maybe overnight.
Hallelujah 😂😂 Dalu rinne
Can this work for dry ugwu
No. You would be eating just the chaff
@@AdorableKitchen thanks
Does it mean the bitter leave was not washed before initial drying
@@bidemiyahaya2490 it was washed, but still needs more washing.
@@AdorableKitchen ok noted. Thank you
