    Good choice on the real techniques brush! Those are great value and great quality, super soft! People tend to buy cheaper, brittle brushes which can damage their figures. Great tips as always.

    I might be the only one that feels this way, but I personally enjoy dusting my figures(probably because I don’t have that many lol). I take them out of their displays, put them on my desk, then I put up some good music while I get busy.
    To me, it’s the only reason to have some personal time with them other than looking at them and by the end of it, I just feel so satisfied that they are nice and clean 🧼. Gotta show some appreciation amirite?

    Hey, nice video. I have a question: Do you know how to get the transparent base of the figure clean again? After standing around some time, these transparent bases become somewhat murky/dull/unclear and simple water won't fix it. Any advice? Thank you!

    • @DTTCReviews

    I wish to ask if there is a optimal place (except not facing the sun/direct light source) to put the figurines.
    Does humidity (cuz I stay in the really humid Singapore) plays a part or those silicone gel packs help?

    • @DTTCReviews
      @DTTCReviews  2 роки тому

      Optimally a fully enclosed display case like a Moducase would be your best bet. I've seen some collectors have a wall full of those and a Dyson air purifier inside to keep things proper 😅😅
      Having some silica jelly pack would actually work too!

    Makeup brushes huh (looks up Amazon)...
    BTW I give my figures a shower in the kitchen sink! LOL
    Thus far this is only for my cheaper prize figures that are displayed in the open - but lukewarm water, handsoap and a soft toothbrush for any grime. Joking aside I bought a 1/4 B-style of Kotobuki Tsumugi that was like 9-10 years old and she was labelled 'Good' on Amazon JP because of "dirt in her hair". She was cheaper than her "as new" competitors (after checking she was not a knock off), I bit the bullet and bought her. Fast fwd a week later, the marks on her hair was some grime that felt err sticky (I don't wanna know) and I used the lukewarm water/soap/toothbrush method (I didn't dunk her in the sink don't worry) - looked brand spanking new, and saved a few bucks!
    My more recent (and more expensive) figures, however, are in Detolfs and not due for a clean yet...
