All Unused LEGO Island 2 Voice Clips

- It took me over six hours to sort all 1793 voice clips from the game. From there, it took me another few hours to put them together in Windows Movie Maker, only to find that it wouldn't publish the video with so many clips (Around 300). That was yesterday. Today, I pieced all the clips together again, but in GarageBand on another computer. I then compiled them into a single, large audio file, put it in WMM, and published it. And there you have it. This video contains every single unused voice clip found in the LEGO Island 2 files. Enjoy! If you want the file names or the files themselves leave a comment. The background image is what the load screen for the game looked like in the beta version - I found it in the game files.

On the broken bridge clips, they were used in the game. If you don't grab the page during Brick Dive and skip it, the knight just hands the page to you. I discovered that a long time ago.

And as I continue to listen, a lot of the first Cedric battle quotes were used. They are only used when your doing gold-worthy good, and Cedric is losing badly. A lot of the Brickster-Bot quotes are interesting as well, especially using a head as a holoprojector. In all, thanks for posting these, Jamesster. They are very cool. I wish the final game had some of these, particularly the Brickster's Palace triple boss smackdown.

Woah woah, you mean Lego Island 1? That game was flawless! I mean, yes, they didn't make the sequels with the cave and stuff they originally intended, but it's still vastly better then, honestly, any Lego game ever made.
That's not just nostalgia talking - no other Lego game had that "just have fun" sandbox mentality like it had.

A couple of the voice clips you included in this, such as "I played this game before", "I got myself another Constructopedia Page!", "I AM QUEEN LEGOTITI!", etc. are actually in the game. However, I assume you only included them for context. Nice job finding all the unused voice clips!
Perhaps some were exclusive to the PS1 version, while others were for the PC version.

I can't believe it either. :| It took a while, but nobody had done it yet, so I figured I might as well do it. Even though it took two days. I've also been working on a Let's Play with my sister, it should be up within a week or so. It's my first LP ever so I'm not sure how much people are gonna like it, but I have to start somewhere.

No doubts there...indeed, the game was going to set up a whole line of sequels which never happened -- the Store and Bank for instance were probably going to become locations. Unfortunately, the many sequels never happened, and instead, we got Lego Island 2 which we can see was faaaar from what it was supposed to be.
It's a shame the Lego Island games had so much internal conflicts - the first game however still ranks No.1 in my book.

@VezonWireless You are correct, the point of the video is to present the conversations as they might have gone if the unused clips had been put in. Just showing the unused clips out of context would have sounded weird.
I mean really...they took out that Star Wars joke in the end? :(

In the sound folder 'cutscene' the laughing file (RichC2) was used when the brickster stole the cunstrucopiedia.
So THAT's why the Brickster uses the fish skeleton symbol in IXS. Interesting.

Wait what, so originally you had to deliver the pages after collecting them? And collect batteries for the Radio to make it work? That would've been so much better, the Lego island segments got rather boring after you first left. Also I assume papa and mama were supposed to walk around on ogel? It always felt rather dead up their. And then there's the final battle with sinister and cedric, so much was cut from the game, it's such a shame. I didn't notice it when I was little, but after replaying it it feels really unfinished after the castle island part.

The cutscenes that the knight gave Pepper the page is the only one I managed to get.
I always wondered why they talked about people shooting me whilst I merely dodged asteroids.
the part about the stables was used in the ps1 versiom,aswell the docter pepper. doesent make much sense when he still throws the horse down.
Could you include the file names of the sound files? The lines were actually dubbed when the game was localized, and I would like to listen to them.
Do you know whether the files will crash if they are compiled in Windows LIVE Movie Maker?
I wish I can remake this game and add the content that was cut.

Wait, are the fish ships like the ship that the Brickster escapes in in Soccer Mania and the one you see in the ending cutscene on LI2 and on Ogel Island? If so, where do they appear in LIXS?

Why did they have to cut the part of pepper explaining a mummies curse is just in your mind and not real. I had to put the game down for a year or 2 when I was little because I was so scared for mummie curses xD. Until I had found it out for myself.
I'm actually glad they cut out Cedric's extended role. I felt they butchered and bastardized his character in the final product to begin with and I feel he would have been even more OOC if they didn't rush the game and put that part about him in.

A shame this game turned out so bad with so many things scrapped...I enjoyed it as a kid, but seeing all of these clips make me wish alot of this stuff turned into reality.
