DP/30: Carol, composer Carter Burwell

- With a career composing some of the most memorable music lines in modern film for The Coens, Bill Condon, Spike Jonze and Todd Haynes among many others, Carter Burwell has never gotten an Oscar nomination for a score. Part of that is that many of the filmmakers he works with mix in a lot of pre-recorded music. But this year, his scores are front and center in three films, Haynes' Carol, Charlie Kaufman's Anomalisa, and Condon't Mr. Holmes. He spoke to David Poland on the day of his first movie junket.
Shot in Los Angeles, November 2015
