I have been diagnosed with RA and Sjogrens. This video has been very informative. Thank you for the educational information you provide.
Glad it was helpful!
I will try to make this as short as possible. I have had RA seropositive for 43 years, since age 25, and on medications since age 30. I have been on Hydroxychloroquine for many years, on and off, and go to an eye doctor every year. About 2 months ago my eye flared up. Always have had very dry eyes and have lost many teeth because of Sjogrens. Reumatology finally prescribed pilocarpine. My eye was swelled, red white of eye, some pain and vision worsened. Went to GP who sent me to cornea sp. He was very concerned and gave me steroid and antibiotic drops, advising I go to a different med to control eye inflamation. It is taking some time to get this started because of insurance. I have been on so many meds since age 30. My RA ARNP left after working with me for 18 years. She was so understanding because she also had RA. I will watch your other videos because this eye problem has really scared me. I am really interested in foods to help and vitamins. Thank You so much for your videos. God Bless.

Sometimes people with seronegative arthritis have Ank Spon..resulting in Uveitis, sometimes they have Inflammatory bowel disease concomitantly ...which general gets worse when not in remission..the eyes seem to be the "red flag"..i.e. if they get inflamed no matter what the cause it is usually indicative of inflammation either in the joints or in the guts...but like you said Dr. it needs to be treated quickly....i know in my case both prednisone drops and / or dexamethasone ointment seems to reduce the eye inflammation..but really doesn't address the major cause of the inflammation. Thanks for all your help Dr. you are the best!!
It's important to stay proactive with treatment for conditions like these. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling to get a proper diagnosis. It can be frustrating when doctors don't take the time to investigate further.
Both RA and Fibromyalgia can be treated with a Carnivore diet.

Ma'am I am having MCTD from last 2 years i am unmarried 29 years old i am on medication from last 8 months,,, now i am having itching in my eyes from last month,,, what to do now?
I recommend consulting your healthcare provider as soon as possible to address the itching in your eyes and ensure it is not a side effect of your medication or a new symptom of MCTD.
Thanks you soo much Ma'am...
@rafiyanazir1075 Try nice warm Clean Wash Cloth over your eyes. It helps to comfort them. Do it as much as you need. It make sure it's nice and warm.

Have an elderly friend with RA for many, many years. Over a year ago she’s been complaining about tired eyes, blurry vision & seeing double. Optometrist has been trying to correct with various glasses & prisms but nothing seems to work. I insisted he refer her to an ophthalmologist for further treatment. Should we inform the eye doctor about how her RA & Meds might be an issue? Or would that not be an issue to bring up. Where should we suggest they look to show a connection between the two if it might be related?
