  • What questions to ask in an interview. If you have a job interview coming up, I want to give you 12 of my best questions to ask questions to interviewer. You’ll sound smart and you’ll look interested in the job when you prepare yourself to ask the right questions to the interviewer.
If you have been interviewing for jobs, you know the importance of asking good question at the end of a job interview.
Learn what questions to ask in an interview from hiring expert: Don Georgevich of: jobinterviewtools.com
    #questionstoaskinaninterview #jobinterview #interviewquestionsandanswers
In this video, I will teach you why the interviewer is asking the question, why most people get it wrong and what you should say.
They are asking you this interview question because if you can’t handle the stress that comes with your role, you are no use to their team. In fact, there are 4 things you need to say in your answer to this question to convince the hiring manager that you can handle stress and pressure!

Now, before I do that, I only want you to ask questions in a job interview that you feel comfortable asking. Don’t just ask questions in your interview because you saw some guy on the internet, in a video and he told you that you should ask these questions.
Only ask questions that make sense to you, that feel comfortable for you. Because if you ask every question that I mentioned in this video, it’s going to create a very awkward moment for you and your interviewer and I guarantee you your interviewer is not going to be impressed.
get the transcript of QUESTIONS TO ASK IN A JOB INTERVIEW FROM HERE: Get the transcription here: www.jobinterviewtools.com/12-...
So, how do you know what’s a good question to ask? Well, you want to ask questions that are going to help you make a decision about whether you want this job or not. If it doesn’t, then it’s not a good question. Now, I created another video on this topic; just the opposite; “Question Not to Ask in an Interview” and those are all the ‘Me type’ questions and you can watch that video. I’ll probably posted at the end of this one. But in this video, we’re just going to focus on questions to ask that are going to help you make a decision about whether you want to work there or not.

Watched a bunch of your videos, specifically the star method ones last week. I went on an interview this morning and wowed them. At the end, they said they still had 4 other candidates to interview and would call me in a week. 2 hours later, I was offered the job. Thank you so much for your videos! Extremely helpful 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have an interview tomorrow, I didn’t apply for it because they were asking for a specific college degree that I do not posses, but they contacted me after finding my resume online. So I feel like I have the upper hand, and they told me on the phone they are willing to develop the right candidate. I love these question to ask them, thank you, wish me luck.

I've had candidates ask questions that they thought there were "supposed" to ask. It's usually pretty obvious and it seems worse than asking no question at all. I completely agree that you should only ask questions that you're comfortable with asking.

    • @petelee2477
      @petelee2477 4 роки тому +1

How is it worse? Don't most employers immediately eliminate a candidate who didn't ask a question regardless of how they performed?
And don't give me that "it's inauthentic" crap. You know as well as I do that every successful interview was scripted

I like it and asked two of the questions from here and got a managerial role, as well as, the pre-knowledge of what was going on at the job; which I conveniently encountered the very situation from an employee on the first day at the job, I felt an internal smile when it came up and was 100% prepared - it felt like crushing a popcan underheel.

Mr. Don Georgevich...U R 1 of the most refreshingly in4mative personalities I have seen & heard in a L O N G time! Ur common sense knowledge (or should I write, "UNcommon?") and tongue in cheek humor is extremely valuable, rite on, and timeless; your delivery is lively & candid with just the correct dash of upbeat comedy. U really come across with a solid combination punch of hands on wisdom and sit down comedy. I look at it this way, if we cannot have fun during an interview, forget about it.

The importance of questions to ask has always made me wonder about how to go about it, what to and what not to, Don's guide helps is helpful. I have seen two of Don's videos so far and what I find most helpful from his videos versus other videos is his explanation with examples. It is good to know how to answer/get the thought process started with a given answer than to just know what to do or what not to.

Tyler Werner Retail group interviews I remember when I was in my early 20s some of them have one or two people I wanted to just kill. I now think I’m glad I didn’t get the job. Retail seems like you have to be intimidated to ask questions. Now I don’t have time to waste and just ask. The hiring person was liking that we were verbal fighting.

I recently interviewed for a job which was not too well paid but the job was not difficult for me. My resume has a long history of good titles & high profile projects...I can't hide or downplay these facts, but nevertheless, it was really local & a very nice place to work, with flexible working & a very friendly, low key atmosphere. Because of this I was OK to take a fair pay & responsibility cut in exchange for a happy, workplace where it would not be difficult to shine bright while not even having to put my coffee down. It was especially attractive considering the very short commute that made up for a chunk of the lower net pay after travel costs. The 1st interview went well, it was obvious I could do the job easily, everyone was smiling & they had already let the "low pay cat" out of the bag early. Then the any questions moment came up & I asked about future progression maybe into design or R&D if the right role came along one day, the idea being to grab a better opportunity to improve pay & responsibility if & when it arose, using my extensive knowledge of the products from within. The HR lady looked at the department manager who looked at the general manager, then back & there was this awkward 15 second of silence with the three sets of eyes darting around in the headlights. The answer was finally fumbled by the HR lady who said that this does not happen & there was nothing on the long term radar for this sort of move. We all chatted another 10 minutes or so, bid our thanks with handshakes & smiles. When I got home I emailed to thank for the interview etc, & said I was keen to continue to the 2nd interview. I got an email back saying they would be in touch by the end of the week with the "next stage"....so I thought OK sounds good. Long story cut short I waited a week then another day & the HR lady called me to say they had decided not to proceed further...I was gutted! I could do this job with bells on, I had already decided I was very willing to give this job more than a good shot even though the pay was not great in return for being content & the fact that there was no natural progression did not really matter. What sort of world is it that I can blow something by wanting to progress & be more valuable to a company?...

Hey Don. Great vid. Just wondering if it is ok to take a note pad and pen with the questions in an interview?

I like candidates who bring a book and pen to the interview. This tells me they have thought through their questions and want to write anything they feel is important. There is no interview where this is not appropriate.

Hello. I recently found your channel and have been enjoying the videos. Thank you. I am at the last round of interviews for a job I really want. Local candidates will have the chance of a face-to-face. I'll have to use video call. The hiring team will be on that interview. Do you have suggestions for me that might help compensate for my "non face-to-face" opportunity. I feel a bit in disadvantage at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Hey Don!! I really like your channel! Do you have any suggestions for the “older “ job seekers. Everyone is talking about age discrimination. I know it is “real” however, I don’t want to dwell on the negative. My biggest concern is when you’ve been unemployed for several months. I’ve learned so much about this issue and ultimately want to become “employed” at a place I can stay till retirement (at least 10 years). THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!

    Excellent videos Mr Don.
Thanks sharing your expert advice. Could you please share the leadership styles expected from mid-senior level positions? Eg general managers.

I love the idea of underhandedly making the employer prove why I should waste my time on them some employers aren’t worth my time

I have a telephone interview this week and the job description lists "ability to travel in state up to 35%of the time, so be overnights required". Is it appropriate to ask them if they can tell me more about this in the I interview? I have no problem traveling, I am just curious about how often, by want means of transport, etc.

I'm kind of scared to ask a question that I may be expected to know the answer to. Like... What are the top programming languages and software that you guys use daily? What if they expect me to have done the research already? What if it's the second interview and I should have already asked these questions in the first interview?
