thats funny, one of those guys that bleed green. I love doo, ride doo, but at least im open enough to say that the other brand names are good as well and they are pretty well all equal. Rider makes more of a difference than the machine and well in this case if Cat did that, they are incredibly stupid. Rasmussen is one of the best riders in the industry, has a huge amount of pull and when I met him he was an awesome guy who also had ideas for a mountain specific sled. (800 etec best 800 engine)

Wasnt the check so much. Cat did not want to keep giving Burandt free parts for every sled he wrecked. Cat is like LOOK we have the best mountain sled outthere. We really do not need you SIMPLE> Only thing better about polaris then CAT is you can not rebuild a cat clutch where as a Polaris can be completely rebuilt for around 350 US parts. And Polaris has better Shocks no question. But POWER, Stability , bulkhead strength. NOTHING BEATS A CAT.

To the guy talking about how the polaris's bulkheads break ya i would like to know where you have heard that. Because i have never heard it. where have you been the last 2 years polaris and doo are killing the mountain market right now. Sure Cat has got 17 horse more than the polaris but it doesnt matter because the pro and the xm wiegh way less and thats what it is all about in the mountains. that and flickabilty which is the definition of the pro

Burandt left Cat not Rasmussen read my post. And no not all sleds are equal. Polaris buklkhead will break if you hit a tree as it is aluminum. Cat is a steeel bulk head. Polaris you can rebuild the clutches for around 300 USD. Cat you can only replace the rollers and the whole cluthh not rebuild parts.. polaris has the best shocks in the industry. Cat has the best high performance motors because their made by Suzuki. Sure rider is most important but each sled has its niche.
