It was really enjoyable to be honest. The soil isn't as kind to the coins on this permission, it is very heavy too (if that makes sense). I got quite excited when we found the dump! Unfortunately, Jon couldn't get down, but it didn't stop him shouting instructions down to me lol . All the best from Jon and Wendy 🙂

Hi Julie, yes George V coins seem to be plentiful, they must have minted so many, and people back in the day must have been very careless because they lost so many of them, and we always seem to find the "chuffing" round pounds, but it's better than moo tubes and ring pulls and silver foil that's for sure.
