You know, there is something fitting about James having smoked deflectors that partially obscure his vision. it’s almost as if thematically he is blinded by his self-worth and vanity.
@@TobyOliverHenryFanif him being outside or even being an N Class ruins him, that I can say the same for 98462 and 87546 being Alfred and Crovan then. (Doesn’t matter if it stuck because by the logic there’s no excuse as it ruins 98462 and 87546). If the answer is no, then I say no, it doesn’t ruin James’ character, doesn’t matter if he was inside or not he’d still be the same character with the same attitude, boastfulness, and maybe even stories.
@@ScorchZaneTrains It ruins his character because he is supposed to be a small tender engine! He thinks he's as important as the other big engines when he isn't! I know I’m two hours late and I do not care. I am so excited to watch this. You do not know how long I’ve been waiting for this because James is my favorite character.
I love how James is an N Class, and I think that a Class 28 engine can still exist in the form of one of the loaned engines, and it's none other than "Eagle".
3:29 for what it’s worth I actually think this model looks pretty good. I agree that it’s out of proportion with the rest of your models, but just in terms of the model on its own I think it’s pretty decent. Curiosity, do you have plans of repurposing this model for something else? Whether that be another James model or another one of your background engines?
honestly I don’t think an n class is the right model for james and here’s why. the whole thing about james was that he had sort of a napoleon complex as in he acts as if he’s a big engine just like gordon and henry when in reality is just a medium sized engine like edward, donald and douglas, when you make him an actual big engine he’s pretty much just another gordon and henry just red. of course this is just my opinion your entitled to your own head cannons and can make them what ever engine you please, also the model is still good looking.
Ngl if I were you I would take out the pistons, and the connecting rods to look more james-y, also I would take the smoke deflectors out too Also what is that cone like thing sticking out of his cab window?
It looks beautiful. I have to say but the one thing it just doesn’t stick with me is that the engine that you use was an outside cylinder engine and I would like to prefer James as an inside cylinder but your design still good.
i find it so funny that i started making my own james about 2 years but life got the way and i put him on hold until i found him this week now stating to paint him and now he nearly finish just tender to do and blue lining i have to send you some photo when he complted also if you are wonding what am using am using a moded bachmann jhonson midland 3f.
I'm sorry to be that guy, but the James used for the day out with Thomas you mentioned was a U class (which is basicly an N class but with larger driving wheels
Well yes james is also my favourite thomas character and i also made james as n class mogel to on my channel plus i did do a good job on it as well and also made a another version if james as a j11 to
Which railway did Fergus Regaby come from and are you planning on doing a Porter-verse OC’s on him? Great work on James! While I’ve seen James as more of a GWR 4300 or an LBSCR K Class, I honestly don’t mind the N Class for him. In fact, I think it actually fits James to have some unique flare in the form of smoke deflectors.
Honestly as much as I like seeing alternate versions of characters, the combination of outside cylinders and smoke deflectors makes this James just not feel very James to me. No shade against it, I just feel that the smoke deflectors give it such a different vibe.
You know, there is something fitting about James having smoked deflectors that partially obscure his vision. it’s almost as if thematically he is blinded by his self-worth and vanity.
Hahaha lol
The Deflectors really do make James stand out more. Good work. 😍❣️
I honestly love James as a N class, pretty cool as hell, and it suits him so well. Love what you did with your take of James
How do you love this?? It completely ruins James' character!

i love the lining on the smoke deflectors! it's so pretty
I like the fact that this James is unique because he has smoke deflectors that's why I like him as an N class.
He looks so goooood!!! The extra blue lining really suits him. Truly a splendid boi
Good Work. And James Being An SECR N class Is So Weird And Fine At The Same Time.
You just pack a punched his splendidness, take my seal of approval

I really like your take on James.
What a splendid return to the workbench
James like this has BadManoredProductions edits energy. I mean that as a compliment; sometimes that guy has great points.
I love it n class is a great basis for james 10/10
3:28 why you flipping us off Porter lol 😂 still this video is a 10/10 keep it up
Another James with valve gear, LETS GOOOOOO
Absolutely gorgeous
Nice custom of James

james with smoke deflectors REAL

James looks like himself in Daniel Hull
Wonderful work my friend 👍 4:59
N Class James Feels Oh So Right, Great Work!
LET'S GOOOOO JAMES!
Well atleast the tender didn't go to waste
i like your jame's basis than the cannon one as he fits in better with the bigger engines, size wise anyway
And ruins his character completely. James is supposed to be a small tender engine that thinks he's as important as the other big engines.
Yeah you really made him look different usually james can be similar to edward i like that you made him stand out tho!
We need a porterverse on Busy Bee James next, good custom!
I Second That Lmao
Another great one!
James if he was gigachad

i agree with this
That doesn't mean that Gordon still see James as a smaller engine than him, despite the Napoleon thing.

What is James like interacting with Edward or mainly how he gets along at the NWR?
I actually quite like James as an N class. Gives me Mid Hants vibes. And I think there's two Jameses on that Railway but I can't remember.

Edit: RWS diehards are currently throwing a fit
They are just jealous, don't listen to them, besides, I like James as an SECR N Class Engine.
