Resurrection (Debelier's Theme)

This piece was inspired by a poem that was written from the perspective of the character Debelier, as well as his short story.
Musically I think it is one of my better pieces. I used a larger orchestral sound with familiar instruments to explore harmony and melody more deeply. I tried to add a more unconventional sound with the synthesized brass and I liked what came out of it. I'd like to explore more sound textures moving forward, ideally combining the different aspects of my work together.
