if I remember right in the original all he had to say was that Amada joined the team and that was it ....not another word he just took the briefcase and that was that ....I kinda wish they'd kept it like that

I did like that version, but at the same time I like this Shinji a lot since they gave him more character development while still being very loyal to the OG imo
