As someone who has played 30 hours of a modern monster hunter game, I had no idea what this was until I went into the comments. This was a wild fever dream of ui sfx and random, bizarre cat noises, which then started occurring while battling a giant lava dinosaur. Cool.
Ahh Nostalgia, makes me miss my PSP, although probably couldn't "crab claw" hold the thing to play this game anymore.
