@@MustangConnection1 I’m just curious what is going to happen to the value of these classic cars if our government continues on its present course. It seem to me they are in the process of eliminating gasoline in favor of electricity. I guess with in the next 20 years we will be converting our classics over to electric. After that they will go after the looks because it appears the powers to be want to make us all the same. Our classic cars have style and different looks. If you look at most models on the market today it’s difficult to tell them apart unless your extremely rich . Then you can afford to stand apart from everyone else with their million dollar cars. I feel terrible that these thoughts cross my mind but they do.
@@Tomgmach1 Pretty sure you are seeing the Swansong for the collector car industry not only from government regulation but the aging out of most people with interest in cars like this. The flame is brightest before it burns out. Give or take 10 to 15 years could be sooner
@@MustangConnection1 yes I thought I was being generous by saying 20 years. I guess the writing is on the wall for all to see. For myself I don’t have that amount of time left, so I’m going to keep mine in good repair and keep loving it as long as I can.. I look at it this way I’m just watching over it for the next owner. I hope there will always be a way to keep these classics around.
Thanks for the comments, hey do you have one of our channel stickers and patches ? If you want 'em, be happy to send them to you on my dime. email me your address to rich@mustangconnection.com
Robert, this was nice for sure but that is way over the market on a car like this. It's rare but man it blew away so many other cars that at this price point were serious bargains. This was a case of the right time at the right auction.
The right person was there to complete their collect. Very nice car. Thanks Rich
So well put, so true Lloyd!
Coups are nice but my heart belongs to fastbacks .
Me to!
This is insane money for this car....

Freaking huge money for a coupe, it's nice I am sure but I don't even think the R code Fastbacks for 68 bring anywhere near that!
I couldn't agree more!
Definitely a record for a lime gold coupe lol
For sure, nutty
I have a black R code 68 coupe
Rich, why does the window sticker say Fastback?
I saw that, not sure why , it's obviously a coupe that brough even more than Fastback money for sure.
