Thanx for sharing Jason! I have the same experience with the Ulanzi calmp and the handlebars of the ST7... I also had a look for the Insta360 and I must admit, the video with the different angles look really great! I'll have a deeper dive into that cam, we'll see.
You have some really unique scenery to ride in... I did pick up the AcePro... I like it, but it's just a better GoPro.. the X3 gives you many more shot options. Let me know what you end up getting...
Jason, thanks for this video. I’ve just ordered my first e-bike (Velotric Discover 1) and looking for ways to use the Insta360 One X2 I’ve had lying around unused for a couple of years. I’m a photographer and already have several clamps I can use along with the selfie stick but since I’m mainly thinking of the camera as a recorder in event of an accident, I’d be fine with attaching camera in front of my chest. I’ve considered the chest strap but was intrigued by the Telesin neck mount. I don’t see any adapters, however, for the style 360 camera I have. Have you done any DIY things to use your Insta360 with your neck strap?
Thank you so much for watching… and congratulations on your first e-bike… You will have a blast.. There are a couple options to use the neck mount or chest strap.. I recommend the neck mount just because it’s easier to use. Insta360 makes a horizontal mount you can use (amzn.to/49GRahs).. I am not familiar with the X2 but if it is like the X3 you might be able to use single lens mode then you will have a wide front facing view. Or you could get some go pro fingers that will screw into the bottom of your camera and then the camera will stick out from your chest (amzn.to/4ayBM8e)… Personally I still think you will want to experiment with the camera on your handle bars.. Even if you don’t extend it on the stick and just bolt it to the clamp I think you will get some really cool views.
@@jasonlynch9979, Jason. Thanks for links and suggestions. I did find an attachment that would probably allow me to attach my Insta360 x2 to the neck mount, but I will take your advice and first try a handlebar clamp method. Now if my new bike would only get here! I’m champing at the bit to get back to riding and actually see how and if I can attach my various accessories (cellphone holder, front burrito bag, etc.) to the Discovery 1 handlebar.

There is upgraded version of this neck mount called pgytech caplock neck mount. I just bought it and absolutely love it.
Thank you I’ll have to check that out
