American drummer, born: July 6, 1949, in San Francisco.
Founding member of Santana. He played on their first 8 albums, until 1974. He later made a triumphant return to Santana for "Santana IV" and the live album " Santana IV Live in the house of Blues Las Vagas".
He later became an electronic music producer, learning his craft whilst performing with Klaus Shulze
