- Went bream fishing with my buddy Mike in Montrose, Arkansas. We caught a nice mess of bluegill and had a good time. He tore me up at his spot. I got to give it to him. He's one hell of a fisherman lol.

Considering riding down that way next weekend. Is there anywhere on that lake or any nearby lakes that's good for bank fishing.
Most of the water here is connected to rivers & creeks. They're overflowing right now. You'd have to go to an isolated lake. I don't fish much this time of year so I'm not much help right now. I heard some people have been catching crappie at Lake Chicot in Lake Village, Arkansas

@@SOUTHERNLIFETIMES I initially asked about bank fishing bc I mainly bank fish. I actually have a pond prowler but I don't have a truck to haul it. My lil brother always tease me by saying hook it up to my car or put it on top of my car.. i tell him...don't temp me lil bro.. Yea I'm ready for the warm weather myself but whenever it's not too cold I'll still go. I enjoy discovering new places to fish and I don't mind traveling to find them

A few have been caught outa there and it never was stocked with catfish, but a few other spots are flooded with those n grennal.
Grinnel 🤦🏻♀️😂, my tiny pond is stocked with everything, I've personally but guar, grinnel, cats, bass, slab bream's and crappies I have put in it myself for the little ones to be able to fish at a good open spot,. I do not want on the show lol just offering ya places....I know others but we not supposed to tell those secrets 🤫🤫😂

I'm about 10 miles from a lake and the river n overspills! There is a bridge on a small back road, I've caught more fish there then anywhere but its the run off of a lake...just message me and I'll send ya that way! Be ready for the fight 😩 they are strong lol
It’s “brim” man.
However you wanna spell it buddy lol. It's spelled bream down our way and by our regulations. Others will argue us both down that it's neither and bream are a fish that's in Europe lol. I always tell people to call any fish whatever it's called in their area. A book can't tell us what to call our fish 👍
