Im a pre t trans guy and do this but i get so many looks when looking at makeup and one time the lady at the counter said i hope your not going to do your makeup 😂 so i guess its good that i pass but the mascara trick really helps make me confident
I’ve been looking for makeup beard tutorials for a long time, but other ones with glue on hair were always too intimidating- This method looks great! Might try it myself soon
I'm planning on “dressing up as a boy for Halloween”, (am FTM), so I hope this works well for me. My mother's going to likely be pissed, but I don't care right now.
aboinamedJared I am 11 months on T! I’ve thought about minoxidil, especially because I wear a mask at work and it would hide the awkward stages :D I don’t know if it will irritate my skin, interact badly with my prescription acne topicals, or lead to more acne so I’ve been putting it off and going back and forth on whether or not to start
I never thought to do this... But I will never forget it now that I know I can do this. Thanks a bunch for the video, I can't believe this doesn't have more views yet.
eyeliner works like a crayon so you won't be using it to color the hair currently growing out of your face. You would need something with a brush for that. I think there are beard tutorials that use eyeliner you could look for.
@@aboinamedJared Thank you for replying! I had the chance to go out and buy some mascara and your tutorial helped me out a lot, it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but I know that it'll take some practice!! So thank you so much!
I started T a little over a month ago and am starting to get a little bit of facial hair, and wanted to make it more noticeable. I know nothing about makeup, but I know I am allergic to makeup removing wipes and most facial cleansing wipes. Would it be a bad idea to do this with non-waterproof mascara?
I would guess so just avoid water and sweating. All i know about mascara is that when girls cry it runs down their face. There is now some beard specific stuff as well.
How do you get it to stay? During the pandemic I’ve been wearing masks (obviously) and it starts to rub off throughout the day. Even if I’m not wearing as mask it fades :/
I recently came out as gender-fluid, I'm crap with make up but I'm learning slowly. This helps alot, thank you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm crap with makeup as well but learning
@@aboinamedJared thank you.❤

I get looks but I figure if all the Queens I'm friends with can go buy make up and still feel manly out of drag I can too.
This is so helpful! I'm trying to get a start with drag and this is really helpful. Tysm!
i just started T
Rich Goranski,,,
I did try this once but the mascara was clumpy and I didn't like how it looked but this vid explains why, thank you!
I think clumpy is partially due to the brush
just rub the mascara in the hair
Thank you for this. It was so nice to have supportive company to help me figure this out. Gender fluidity made hairier!! ♥️
Great video!! I really hope this video gets more popular
Finally I have a use for all my facial hair!!! This is an awesome tip

Did you try it yet?

Dang I just shaved my peach fuzz so that foundation will go on easier. I’ll have to wait and try this out! (NB, early on in transition)
Are you on T at all? 5% minoxidil could help if facial hair is what you are looking for

Check with your doctor about if it will react with acne meds. I'm not a doctor so I can only speak from my experience.
Great tutorial! You are very handsome by the way!
Genius idea
so the mascara only works on peach fuzz or hair ? You couldn't use it on bare skin right?
Correct
They have color mascara for eyebrows

Does this work though if you don't have any facial hair?
What would the mascara stick to? You could try but I doubt it would have the same results.
Thank you very much

Setting powder or spray. Let it dry completely. I’m not sure how long it will help but should help some.
@@aboinamedJared thank you!
doesnt work i dont have enough :(
I'm sorry. It definitely doesn't work for everyone.
