Keep the Right Spiral, even it's reverse turn. Right hip, Left shoulder toward partner(Body Lock, CBM) Natural turn FWD(right thigh connection; head & feet on the big circle; rib cage goes first on the small circle)--rib cage is leading the right turn. Natural turn BWD, head & LF aligned on the big circle, rib cage towards the partner, and leading the right turn Reverse turn(head, feet on the small circle go first ; rib cage on the big circle and keeping toward partner), remains the right spiral; Reverse pivot back, keep the left shoulder front to the end, inviting with the head weight. Danced with Mirko in competitions, Generally without fixed choreography, Edita just follows with strong center connection and good foot action to feel Mirko's doing. Heel turn, CBM, L should stays in front, LF to turn in, invite man with head weight, close in the LF with pressure, toes of both feet need to be together, make the turn on RF using lower part of the body(the abs, the core). Invite partner with the head weight for the reverse figures is the same with man and lady. Good practice idea of the reverse figures--put R hand on the back of L shoulder blade.
Appreciated very much for your detailed instructions for lady reversed actions basic skills especially toe turn in and heel turning close, Shirley Zheng Taipei ROC
The {cake} u prepared for your students not only taste but also goodlooking and easy doing it with your correct basics performance, please keep going on such befincial affections to each of those ameture or professional dancers from Henr y Miao and Shirley Miao
Edita thanks for the nice explanation and demonstration. I have an unusual question. My wife has been looking forever pants. Where can I get these great pants or the matching pattern? Thank you and I hope we will continue to see you dance so beautifully.
Now Edita - how do you change this to accomodate a syncopation or break in the music? What happens when the music is polyrhytmic, how do you adapt to the change in tempo? If the music 'Swings' how do you adapt your style of dancing to cope with that?
