Excellent tips! Competitive dancers should repeatedly watching and studying the content. Other than the less than par audio, this video is substantial. Thanks you Evaldas & Ieva.

5 steps of posture and hold:
    1. roll the shoulder back and down for the natural and visible neck and shoulder lines.
    2. maximum stretch of both arms.
Left shoulder blade stretch and slide to left.
    3. Lady Pick up the Left shoulder blade
    4. Lady Left shoulder blade slightly forward to be lighter on the man’s right arm.
    5. knees forward for connection from thigh to rib for stability and communication.

15:00 R turn, turn the upper center, then the lower body follows.
L turn, turn the lower center then the upper body follows.
Should be the same, turn the lower center/body first, then the body follows.

18:00 Technical sway is from the feet all the way to head.
Cosmetic sway(Artistic sway) is from hip above, the hip stays level and unmoved for the stability.

20:00 feel the tailbone, the tail in turning around each other, around the common center.

10:00 Lady’s L wrist connect to the man’s arm, around 5% of the weight of the lady’s weight for the connection to the man.
both arms slightly upward support for the man.
Allow the man to decide the lady’s R elbow position.
The connection is much longer, from above the knee to the lower part of rib cage, for the stability and communication.

8:00, Man’s right hand shaped as an extension of the lady’s spine.
L hand slightly outward for the wider look and better look for sway to L.

  • @rogelee-TW
    @rogelee-TW 4 роки тому +3

19:10, Not the same amount of sway for not crossing each other, and for stability and couple balance as well.
Sway to L, man swayed more. Sway to R, lady swayed more.

WDSF is a large organization who can afford proper wireless Mike's for their presenters/dancers to get rid of hollow audio and echos. I suggest they invest in proper wireless Mike's for their videos.

There are people with hearing handicaps who love to dance and learn too, Mr. John.
I guess people like you simply do not care about others at all.
      Quite selfish of you.
Keep in mind, their wonderful free service to provide lessons is greatly diminished if others have difficulty hearing what they are saying. - but the likes of you simply do not have the intelligence to understand that.
The WDSF are lucky to NOT have people like you working for them.
