I love how arthur always call doug "douglas" 😀😀
Because authur has a better relationship with doug than he does with his daughter carrie.
My dad calls me Douglas too
@@robocop5935 indeed, despite Carrie's obsessive enabling of Arthur's constant antics.
DOUGLAS!!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Douglaaassssss
Arthur is one of the best tv characters ever written and no one can ever change my mind
Really don't see anybody going out a their way to do that practice on u but hey to each their own pal.
@@ginoperez2834 hey thanks Gino I appreciate your pointless response. “U” have a great day now
Do you guys remember when he became blind and holly tried to give him water and he started crying yelling water. HAHHAHAH 😂😂
Agreed😊
Their choice of words are Hilarious “he’s nesting…” 😂😂 Creative light-hearted writers.
I’ve stolen the term “nesting” from here and use where necessary 😂😂😂💯
"Do we have malaria?" 😂😂
He's trying to cook us. Lmao
I'll be sure to float it across the hall to you when I'm done. 😆
Doug's whole "nesting" bit made me laugh out loud, especially the laying eggs part 😂😂😂
Omg when he turns the thermostat to 90°!! So funny!!
that's between 30° and 35° Celsius. no big deal for today's standards.
LOl Jerry Stiller was such a great comedic precence.
“Anyway”.
Presence
Not just his lines either, the way he delivered them!
@@richardmorris7063 Yes!
This is the funniest of all the great sitcoms. Jerry Stiller alone is a Don!
this episode is awesome. the writers on this show were very talented and so were the actors
They not that talented the house is 90 degrees and they're sweating yet Carrie puts on a robe 😂
@d-nice4311 you're over thinking genius, just enjoy the show.
"Do we have malaria?" ahahahaha
Get him an electric blanket, he'll be nice and cozy.🤔
Hes nesting!!!! Lmao
Arthur is always ordering something, "How freezing?"
Normally basements are always above 0°C, even if it's freezing outside.
2:27 Jerry def broke character 😂😂
My all time favorite sitcom!
mine too
To answer Arthur's question, I'd go with musk
😂😂😂
Elon?
To make sure I'm seeing this right, they complain of it being hot and Carrie puts on her robe and Doug gets back in bed and pulls cover over him?
Good catch!!
very good observation iiiii watching to much Colombo (Peter falk) LOL
She was going down stairs, so probably not hot down there. Doug shouldn't have covered up.
Some habits are difficult to break
I was thinking the exact same thing
"Frozen Pop" Lol!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Hands down my favorite episode!
Charming couple. 😄👌🏻
"Do we have Malaria?!" Haha! In NYC, fat chance. "No, I couldn't have been 10, I was in rhe Army!"!" Haha!
this and Taxi, my most fav in my lifetime so far.
Yep,Cheers probably 3..
I'd like to add All In The Family.
The Fort Dix bit in Buffy Season 4 is funny.
This is so Amazing.Thank you 🇩🇪🥰
Any reason why this show was kind of popular in Germany?
@@Y_hass Because this show genuinely hilarious and brilliant!
It's quite bright for 06:30 on a winter morning.
Classic TV Rewind, The Norman Lear Effect and Throwback TV are brothers lol
One of my favorite episodes. I STILL cry at the end. TFS❣️
Right
I don't remember how this episode eneded.
@@tvfan14Him being put back in the basement.
Do we have miliaria!🤣
This episode makes my mother tear up because it reminds her of her father. She ops not to watch it when it comes on through the syndication cycle.
One of my favorite episode 😊❤
always loved this show after the second year .
" im drenched in swet do we have malaria " 😅😅😅
Thank God I left NJ. I now live in South Florida. It gets cold but it gets up to the 80s and sunny a couple days later.
Lucky! I wish I could afford to move to Florida.
@@MattWolfe1019wish i could afford it. I spent time around Tampa Bay and my mom couldn't afford it either. Sad, such greed that exists in real estate market. Unless it middle of nowhere, FL.
Ft Lauderdale here
@@fortis6258 I wish I could move to Florida to.. I can’t afford it but Florida always helped my depression.. it’s cold and gloomy here
"Why did he call me neighbour?" 😂
That episode finale went real deep, unexpectedly sad. I feel bad while thinking about it now because it had to do with loneliness and disillusionment and a frustration and a lack of dignity and respect and self-value.. and a whole bunch of dysfunctionality that provides for a never-ending series of conflicts under that roof. ...Quite an eye-opener!
Jesus Christ it’s a tv show
@@ericostling4727 Soooo, you don't like 'em when they got substance or what's the problem?
@@NiVi192 now "they" call it woke. 🙄
Get a life Vicky.
That's not even what the episode was about lol
We watched them all the time too lol 😂
Jerry Stiller was the best
0:17 she couldn't make the bed all the way with the sheets
And yet Doug is wearing a t shirt and shorts 😆
KoQ was one of the best .. I mean the characters could get on your last nerve like you had one of them .. ya
Funny
Coffee now?
- Yeah..
Happy Birthday!
- From A Bee!

I would of talked to him about setting the temp to 90. "Dad, if you're going to raise the heat, you can at least warn us first. Then, pay the difference when the gas bill comes."
A space heater in the basement would've been much more simple lol
Basement is not isolated. You got to understand that. A space heater is just wasting energy
lol 😂
I wouldn’t want to live in queens, no backyard
What episode is this from and season
Why don't they put a heater down there? Sheesh
You should produce your own comedy-show. You seem to know what's funny.
@@Kabutoushidaisukioneesan U don't have to be rude. Grow up
It’s a show …
@@Awillii Duh but they could still put a heater
@@lynnecrisp what would be the benefit of doing that?
what a cutie. glad she abandoned that tom cruise fake religion.
🗺 The Hoosier state?!!

Buy a heater
The Jets have 11 players on the field
Put the guy back in the basement with a space heater. They're cheap and efficient at heating a room.
That thermostat sketch is from a time when energy was cheap... Unthinkable today. And if you live in Europe you would be jailed for wasting energy like that. Seriously.
Arthur loves playing the victim even though he's 100% at fault for everything.

Dude, if I was married to Carrie, nothing would bother me.
The temps would eventually go back up into the teens. It's like 10 days tops.
No matter how hot a woman is, there's someone somewhere that's sick of her shyt.
He could've slept in the living room on the couch.
senior on a couch
There is one episode where he slept on the table.
1:56 Carrie's hot but she puts on a pink robe?
In my family it's the elders who should provide housing for and take care of the younger generation.. Isn't that the way its supposed to be or am I wrong? Seriously I'm just asking so don't be yelling at me.
The younger are eventually supposed to take care of the older.
Carrie was so hot
The father is hella annoying
No real man In reality would have put up with him. And she wasn't hot enough to change that.
